I'm 31.
I'd pay $15-$20, maybe even more if it is within my means and I cared enough about supporting my church (I'm agnostic and have no church but if I did...). I might even stay for the event for social reasons but not for any interest in quilting.
I've studied quilting as an artist but it's not really an interest any longer. And, quite frankly, a church based quilting event makes me think of the traditional, types of quilts and lots of women outside my age group who don't share my experiences. I'd be interested in a quilting event given by and for artists to explore the medium outside of the traditional styles, uses, and techniques.
If you're looking to attract women in their 20s and 30s you might look at less gender-stereotyped activities. Even something focused on painting or sculpture will allow you to keep an artsy-crafty theme while attracting a less specific audience. all you need is one person familiar with the field to lead it and anyone can have fun with it without any knowledge or experience in it.

I'm not really sure if quilts would appeal to the 20s-30s age bracket. But I really like the idea of sharing stories about the quilts. Maybe expand it to include anything creative, poetry, short story, painting etc (quilts can be included) which can be shared and can have a story told about.
I guess price would depend on what is being provided.
Good luck!

I'm 20 and I wouldn't at all be interested in this luncheon. Quilts for entertainment? Not so much. Perhaps as a sort of art gallery with another form of entertainment on the side, yes ... -Sigh- Why not have this be inclusive of all artforms made by women ... and not just the stereotypical ones?

This could be a little boring on its own. Why not make a game about it and have a prize attached? For example, create a "quiz" having multiple choice answers. Questions could be: Whose quilt is the oldest? Whose quilt took the longest to make?
Perhaps have the women answer a questionaire about their quilts a week or two beforehand and have one person compile the answers into this quiz.
I'm 28, and this is the best way I can think of this to not be boring. I might pay $10-$15 for such an event, but it'd depend on who is catering. Why not just have a potluck and then collect a goodwill offering to be donated to the church or however you might want to use it.

Sorry, I wouldn't pay anything to look at a bunch of quilts. That sounds really boring. For $15-$20 you better have some really good food.

You would want me to pay to come and look at quilts. Are you kidding. I might pay like $3.00 for the meal and that's about it. But i would be so bored that i would not attend such a gathering of women. And by the way how many 20-30 year olds do you know who quilt. I know like 0. If your thinking of attracting that age group you might want to include a band or a movie to help attract them to your event.

Uhhh.....I'm a supporter of my church, but I wouldn't go to anything like that. And I admire quilts! Maybe if there was a door prize to win a quilt or something, but it would still be a stretch for me to go. You need to add some games, raffles etc into the mix. Plus, it would be boring for kids, and I bring my kids with me to all the church events.

Quilts? That might appeal to the 60+ crowd, but I can't see that much interest in the 20-30s crowd.
$5 if that's the only entertainment planned. Actually, I probably wouldn't go.

As a woman in my twenties, I don't find this very entertaining at all. I likely would not attend let alone pay for it. Sorry I am not trying to be rude. How about thinking up some games to play such as cards, charades etc. You can do karaoke, have prizes and raffles, cooking or pie contests etc. You can do scripture readings too and make games that are related to the material you read.

i'm 36 and my boyfriend is 37. I even have consistently dated adult males that have been older than me because of the fact i replace into consistently lots greater mature. i replace into married in my 20's and my ex-husband replace into in his 30's. i come across that adult males who're youthful than me are at a distinctive place of their life than me. we've not got lots in elementary.
