Has anyone been in a relationship with a depressed person.
What is it like? I am wondering because my fiance used to be thoughtful, loving, caring and energetic. Then, one day, he turned into someone I don't even recognize - he sleeps alot, it irritable, grouchy, can barley hold a conversation, and is not interested in doing anything. Either he is showing his true colors or he is depressed. He has been on anti-depressents before, and I am wondering if depression could be the problem. Also, if he is depressed, how do I get him to seek help? He won't because he said he hates the drugs.

I was at a buddy's New Year's bash and I was talking to a guy pretty much all night that didn't know many people there and he was funny and cool to "shoot the breeze" with. He seemed like a nice guy to be around and then before he left his face turned serious and he said

"I have something I need to give you". So he writes down the name of a book called "The Game". He told me I was communicating wrong with people and the book would tell help me. Now first off, I didn't know everyone there myself, but I introduced myself to people and hung around more with people I had already known. Personally, and im VERY self-conscious of people around me and what they're thinking, I thought I was fine. He told me I was coming off as needy and said that how I said "this year went for you sounded like you needed this one to be better for you".

With all due respect, is this appropiate to be throwing towards someone you've only known for 89 minutes? I kept asking him to explain himself more and in a civil, not hostile way, asked him where he was going with this, then he started saying HE AND I were "frustrated chumps".

He also told me to not call the girl I got a number from that night (who he was friends with) after I told him she also gave her number to someone else.

Then he gave me his email if I had any questions. I felt like an a*s. It kind of overshadowed my night a little. Does anyone else go to New Year's party to be told how they are by people they don't know?

What do I say about this? This still bothers me a bit....I know I was social, but it wasn't like I was bothering anyone.

When I'm dreaming, I've always wondered what would happen if I went to a library and opened a book I've never read. If I opened that book, memorized some of the lines, and woke up later, would the lines be the same in real life as in the dream? I think about this sometimes, but I can never get myself to do that in a dream...Why is that?

Also, when you're dreaming, why don't you ever know it's a dream? Sometimes, some of the stuff in dreams is REALLY weird, yet you still don't realize it's a dream.

I have had several dreams and moments of deja vu that have come to pass in great detail a couple of years later. In one dream in particular, I was working at a place I had never seen, with people I had never met, yet knew them well in the dream. A couple of years later, I experienced the exact moment I had dreamed about. How did I do this? And what does it mean?

Hi-
All you grown-ups out there: do you have any advice for early twenty somethings who don't know what they want in life nor how to get there: what career they want, and how to be satisfied with life in general? How did you make your way to a settled adulthood?

i had a dream that i was dropped off by my physical therapist on a street near my house. THere i met this older student at my school, and she started to take me on a walk. We were laffin and talkin, and then she said, "ok, choose one more sidewalk to walk on and that one will be our last. there were sidewalks on each side of me, and i chose the one directly in front of me. THen we walked there, and then my physical therapist drove up and picked us up. THen she dropped me off at this place, im not sure exactly where, but i do remember seeing an inoccent looking girl, and then she started walking toward a house. THen, while i was watching the news, a breaking news came up and said that a scandal was uncovered. There is this guy at my church, and NO i dont like him, more like as a bro, but he is a strong christian. And the most unusual and horrifying thing came up: this good christian guy was paying that inocent looking girl to SLEEP with him!!!!!! i asked him and he said yes.

What can I do to make myself stronger mentally? I am a very sensitive person, and I hate it. I don't want to be intimadated by people anymore and I want to be able to stick up for myself, have mental strength. What is your advice?

I sometimes worry excessively over small details like for example I sold some items on amazon four of them for around $50 each. I kept worrying after I had sent them ,because i forgot to get delivery confirmation for them and just began to worry excessively that some people would recieve them and then say they did not and demand a refund and I could not prove it. And I just kept thinking about it. Even lost sleep over it a little bit.
What is this normal? This is just one example of what I am talking about. I guess it could be described also as paranoia or obsessive compulsive thoughts as well maybe. But other times I may worry continuously about "trust" issues or be too worried over money situations like this. Although it surely is unlikely that anybody would really "rip me off " like that!

They will ALWAYS be preoccupied with fairness and feel they are being taken advantage of. They never realize that a marriage is letting your guard down and mutually trusting the other person.
How true is this statement?

I have notice spelling problems often make people upset.
I have also noticed that simple questions work just as well.
What kind of other questions can I ask that drive people nuts?
Religion room seems to be an easy target.

"Is America President Stupid?"
"Does Internet Explorer Suck?"
"What is the best computer to buy?"

Besides that, questions with suicide seem to get a lot of responses.

A sarcastic answer would also be greatly appreciated!
