Social Science - 2 March 2007

I love online contests, I compete in many and I win almost 1 every 3 days. I like the prizes (books, DVDs, cosmetics, gadgets and so on) but I like even more to see my name on the winners list. The problem is that these contests take a lot of time and got me into a routine it's hard to break out of. Any advice?

I have a friend 54 who has raised a family and is now alone, left with nothing, and needs to start again.
She is overwhelmed - especially since 'retirement' would not be that far off.... I find it hard to be encouraging. What are some hopeful things to say?

I have a friend who is mute. In high school he was probably one of the nicest guy with a great bright.

However it has been a while since I last saw him. We start talk again not long ago after five years since high school. He seems to be more cold, cruel and cunning. It seems like nothing he did isn't without a serious purpose behind it.

He's reallly convince people doesn't like him because he's mute. He always think if girl is interest enough in him to go out with him, it's just to use him or have a boyfriend until they find someone who isn't mute then dump him.

I know he wasn't treated well in high school, he was basically ignored by everyone. Girls also made fun of him if he try to ask them out.

I don't understand why he turn out this way? Why didn't other disabled people turn out like him?

I absolutely hated their interference in my life during that growth phase - they would overburden with homework, lock me up in detention room, embarrass me in front of parents and peers, give a fail grade without any explanation - weren't we all terrified of their names and presence

I'm thinking of suing them now would I get justice

There is no point to life but love. My skin is very thin and so i get strectchmarks easily, i just found them on my face. Since everything else in my life has gone wrong, and now I am disfigured why shouldnt i commit suicide ? And dont say because its a sin, because there is no god, and dont tell me to find god either. Don't say because its selfish, because its my life and its selfish for others to keep me around for themselves

Okay I do not smell like anything good, if anything I smell like onions. I am not wearing anything bright, just white and blue. There was a mosquito in my living room and I turned on all the lights and got some ant spray (i dont know) and started spraying at it, it came closer to me and I backed away while spraying more and it came closer so I started to run while spraying it and it chased me all the way into my room. What is going on here and why? That was scary.

of course we all have, but everyone I talk to wakes up before they hit the ground. In my dream it is the impact of hitting the ground that wakes me. I always heard that if you hit the ground, you die. I'm obviously still here. What is going on with that?
