No I wouldn't coz racists are small minded people that don't put efforts into understanding other races, cultures and societies.
It is a sad fact that racists often learn racist attitudes from their family and friends as they comform to their social groups. Conformity in racist groups is often caused by fear of rejection of peers. It is difficult for a person not to conform to racist attitudes after the person joined a racist group.

Being human, and trying to live life can be hard enough, without people having to put up with Racism.
If you partner is racist, he could slowly over time affect your attitude on people of other races without actually knowing it. Plus although you may not be looking to far into the future, if you are/were to become more serious and thought of having children etc, would you want your children to be fed facist thoughts by their father?
The things that go along with a relationship, love, support etc, mean that loving someone like that to a certain extent condones his beliefs. In the same way (although different topics) it would be for a law abiding person to date someone who is a self-confessed criminal and has no intentions of going straight.
Good luck, there are plenty of open minded and loving people out there.

Never, because i would be compromising my own integrity as i have very clear Anti-racist views and practices.I would run a mile from a racist and often have.Even if i was on a first date with a guy who started spouting racist comments i would get up and leave.I am a white woman who respects all races.

Racism is a serious character flaw. I Don’t believe that any one trait defines a person, but something of this nature tends to be a systemic failing in self concept and other important psychological inner workings. Would I date, in my case, a woman who is a racist? Probably not. However, if I were interested in her for other reasons and I though that she was sophisticated enough to find a more enlightened perspective, then I might try for a time.

No, because I would view that his racist tendencies were indicative of underlying inabilities to view others perspectives and also insecurity. To be a racist in the face of contradictory evidence one must have a disordered thought process in which to protect ones view point to stop from having to move from their position. I would ask myself why they were so defended and what that would mean for other areas.

NO WAY. The thing is if other people know that he is racist and that you are dating him they will also think that you are racist as well.

i agree with the guy that said he has a character flaw. racism is not tolerable. i fancied a girl but she turned out she is racist. she explained to me why she was like that and i saw what she was saying. however i dont like hearing those kind of comments so we just friends. i have many friends who are different nationalites and i wont stand for anyone saying comments about their race. like one of the answers said, think of it if u had kids.

I don't think I could. It depends on his other qualities and traits and how severe his racism is, but still, I don't think I could. I've travelled too much and enjoy getting to know a wide variety of people for me to date someone who wouldn't be able to understand or who would criticize that choice.

No i wouldn't. Everyone is equal. Just because the colour of skin is different doesn't mean they are inferior. Skin colour has a purpose.. We're all the same on the inside.
