What makes you happy most ?
If you know that then that's what you want to do yourself.
If you do what you likes most that would bring you most success.

You can tell by people's answers how THEY are choosing to live their lives... whether they decide by "wants," "needs," or even by just letting life choose for them.

Personally, I think you're not asking the most important question, which is,

"How do we find what exactly we love to do in life?"

Focus not on "wants" but on "loves". Because when you know what you love to do, then you'll naturally want to do it.

How do we find what we love to do?

I agree with the other answerers about trying different things until you find it. When you discover it, you'll want to do it just for the sake of doing it, you'd do it for free (if you were rich) - and not for any reward like money or respect. However, I also think that while you're experiencing different jobs, you examine all the things you liked AND didn't like about those things/jobs, and use that knowledge to narrow down your choices. And you can only know what you like/dislike by Listening to your heart - how you feel.

For example, even if you worked in a convenience store, you can learn about your likes/dislikes: maybe you liked the people element of it, or the fact that the work was routine, and was "mentally easy".... or maybe you hated it for exactly the same reasons, because there was "no change," and it "wasn't challenging enough." Each job is an experience to get to know your Self better, and to find out what you love and don't love. You have to start letting your heart & Self be your guide.

I wish you the best in your journey, however you decide to travel it!!!

Dear,
Life is an accident or by Chance , like we have come on the earth same way , we keep doing things whatever comes on our way. We do and want to do many things in our this little life and decide to do about doing few and rejecting many things.
In the course of this exercises, we come to conclusion that this is what I can do or I will be able to do - my interest. Then does that work more than other work on regular basis.
This is what is life. You also try keep doing something or other, you will come to know one day that you are born to do this work.
This is all about nature , since life started on earth.. keep going.......

I do not think anybody can find this. Neither any body has found earlier.
People keep doing things whatever comes on their way. Certainly, people decide about doing few and rejecting many.
In the course of this exercises, one come to conclusion that this is what he or she is made off. Then does that work more than other work on regular basis.
This is what is life. You also try keep doing something or other, you will come to know one day that you are born to do this work.
Enrich and enjoy. Have fun!!

Everyone is exposed to various things in life and involves himself in divergent activities like academic learning, sports, fine arts, social service, urge to investigate some natural mystery and find something, engage in adventures like hiking...

Most of us restrict our interests to a bit of every exposure and spend life in a pattern or dull routine.. Some of us find motivation in one or more of his the exposures - due to deeper involvement (unlike a casual approach like many of us) taken - and find special achievements ...

Thomas Alva Edison or Albert Einstein made those historic achievements that we still marvel, due to the inspiration they found in the respective fields...

So just involve yourself deeper in every little exposure you get in the home, the school or out in the wild (not necessarily in science) even sports, music or whatever... You will be automatically dragged into achieving something...

Or you will mix with the great majority of us who just admire every other person for something or other and spend life in sheer waste of personal enjoyments and vain boasting for nothing!

Let God be in the "driver seat" of your life and you'll find out exactly what you want. When you trust Him enough, everything will fall in its place... and you will be amazed of how God drives your life. Faith is the name of the game.=)

We don't. Unless we realize we're lucky and already doing it! Just keep on moving and learning and you've got the best chance of finding it.
