Okay for the last 4 weeks ive been really really down in the pits, really emotional, and frustrated on my life. Putting my self down making unnessacary suicide comments becuase of listening to my mom, make assumptions on why i've been so down. I've been really anxious latley *more then usually*. But this week for some reason ive just been anxious! and my doctor reffered me to go talk to somebody at the mental health clinc and dont know if i should becuase i feel better. Whats your say?

You need to talk to someone. It is your call who that is.
You may not hit it off with the therapist. If that happens , try another.
You actually do your own work. Talking to a professional will give you some guidance on how to proceed.

I have the same thing... It is called manic-depressive disorder. It can be caused from a chemical imbalance in the brain. So many people have this and because they put off going to a Dr. they miss out on so much life they never knew existed... See the Doc... You don't HAVE to take the medicines prescribed but try them anyway but under the doctors supervision. You shouldn't start any meds and then decide to quit cold turkey...whew! don't do that!... Well, you should do anything to keep you alive. For alway, when your down, later in life it will all turn allright. Besides you only get one life so I'd live it fully, even if it was all down. If your mom is making you try suicide then dont do it, but if your little and you feel she hates you then know, when your 18, you can go to college and go wherever

Dont put off seeing a professional. It may seem okay for now, but then you may be faced with the problem again. Seek help now while calm and at ease; your therapy (if needed) will be much smoother than when you're anxious and fustrated.

You obviously can't think for yourself and need somebody else to think for you.
You don't know too much do you?

Yeah go see the doctor or don't.
Make your own choice for a change.

well its always great to talk to someone, so first try someone close to you or someone you love and trust. if that doesnt work, its your choice if you'd like to talk to a therapist. its just that they're worried about you and are willing to do anything so you'd feel better.

why are you emotional/frustrated;
do u feel something is missing in your life ?

u need to do something that will remind you how life is too short...and you should not take it for granted...
