When I'm dreaming, I've always wondered what would happen if I went to a library and opened a book I've never read. If I opened that book, memorized some of the lines, and woke up later, would the lines be the same in real life as in the dream? I think about this sometimes, but I can never get myself to do that in a dream...Why is that?

Also, when you're dreaming, why don't you ever know it's a dream? Sometimes, some of the stuff in dreams is REALLY weird, yet you still don't realize it's a dream.

your mind tricks you into thinking it is real, so that you dont wake up from it being fake. the entire purpose of dreams is to work out issues in your mind while you sleep.

we dont have control in our dreams because out brain isnt in control. our subconcious is. dreams are a hidden way of thinking, though unlike thinking during the day we cannot wander where ever in out minds we please.

its hard to explain really.
