Much of human communication is nonverbal. Some experts have said as much as 90% of communication is through body language. Those who study human behavior are schooled in body laguage; for example, law enforcement personell find it very useful during interigation to determine if a suspect is being deceptive. On the other hand, con artists may use body language to manipulate people, to put people at ease while they are unknowingly getting ripped off.

Body language is not at all that valuable, especially when you are talking on the phone, also if a person is familiar with all the positions or stances then you certainly can be led astray. I have vision problems and have difficulty seeing peoples faces, so body language is out for me,

See if you can find the book called "How To Read A Person Like A Book"... It is extremely interesting andit will eventually come natural to you to know how someone else is thinking or feeling...great book!... I used one of the "technique looks" many years ago in a deposition and the attorney was pretty hard on me but I used the "steepled finger" position (which is supposed to mean that YOU are in control) purposely just to see how it worked and believe it or not the "mean attorney got frustrated and threw his hands in the air and said "I have no more questions"..lol... It also made me "feel" in control. Attorneys can be extremely intimidating and ruthless but I was prepared and it DID work!... check it out and have fun with it!

Simple, if mathematics were not around, how can we tell how many planets there are, how old we are, how we score homeruns, field gials, what is our basis in finishing school without numbers, and a whole lot more. There would be no physics, chemistry, algebra, geometry, and the like.
