I’d like to contribute to Simple English Wikipedia’s anger article.
How would you explain what anger is to children or someone with limited English?

Anyone know what my dream means?
So, a few months ago I had a dream about my best friend, lets just call him Matt. [he died a year and a half ago] This is how the dream went:
Matt came to my house and he told me he was talking me somwhere. So we got to a house and there was a lady there. He told me the lady was going to peirce my ears. She peirced them & they were bothering me, but Matt told me not to take them out. Then we went some where else and he gave me a ring. I ended up taking 1 ear ring out. Then Matt, 4 other friends, and I were hanging out and having a good time. We went somewhere [dont remember] and then we went to my house. We all talked for a little bit and then Matt said he was going home for a little bit. I walked him home and he told me he loved me.. then my other friendsand i went somewhere [dont remember where]. We were going back to Matt's to see if he wanted to come somewhere with us and his house was on fire. We tried getting in the house but we couldn't.
So I gave up and there was a swing and a lake in the back of his house. A lot of people were there. They were all partying watching the house burn down... I had my head down since I couldnt rescue my best friend.... then all of a sudden I was walking away and I looked down on my finger and I smiled.
So it was little weird since just I got my ears periced in December, and 1 got infected. And this is the 1st dream I have had of my best friend. What does this dream mean?? Please help... Thanks so much

Recently I observed two random, what could be called, 'stereotypes'

-a lot of cabdrivers at a Muslim funeral
-a coincidence with Irish people seeming very wholesome and nice

Are these observations rude? Why is it wrong to notice things like this? Is it base?

I have this constant dream where I am at the beach and loving it, then all of the sudden the waves start coming up and get higher and higher and flood the island and i always get to high ground or rooftops but it always freaks me out...sometimes there are waves so high i can't see anything but water...even if i'm on the west coast on a cliff before the water...

The setting is always different...but the outcome is always the same...and sometimes i am afraid it will happen and other times I have no clue it's coming...

In the last 5 or so years I've had one ocean dream that I can think of where this didn't happen...
What could this mean? I hate that it happens because i love the ocean so much...

very caring and loving, but suffered from depression or so it seemed. He layed the big suicide threats on me. He wanted to die, and when I told him he needed prof help, he declined and only wanted my help. There were times he would tell me he couldnt take it anymore, if I called the police he would go through it hang up on me. So, I stood by him and tried my best to help him even when I found out he had a one night stand pregnant before we met. I helped him accept it, only for him to leave to be with the mother of his child. But whats worst was the way he did it, he was really cold. It hurt very much and I called him crying alot. Well, i found out some lies he made and called him to confront me, but left a voice mail. I then recieved an email telling me that he would file a complaint against me if I continued to call him and also, if I need help to see a pychologist:(I couldnt believe it, that he could say this to me. After all I did for him and now I am feeling the effects of it

My boyfriend get's upset when I cry or talk about it like he is tired of hearing it. So I just wanted to know is it normal for me to keep going through this or is something wrong with me. Please I just need some advice. How do I get over something like this and will the pain ever go away.

Obsessions can be life consuming and can even draw a human into chaos or death. Have you ever had one and found a way to kick it out of your life or are you still struggling?; or is it that you haven't even realized that you have one?.

I like myself as a person and I am very comfortable in my own skin. I've always thought that I seem to exude some sort of air of confidence, in accordance to the theory of "smile, and the world smiles with you". However, I just recently learned that despite my confidence and what I consider to be exuding said confidence, I come across as uncomfortable and nervous, which is HARDLY the case at all. What the hell's going on here? :S lol

I had spent 12 years of my life to write that story.I need some people to read the introductory part(it includes outline of the story) of that story and give their valuble opinion on that story.

I'd be thankful for those people forever.I had a hope that the people who had gone through that intorductory part, sure ask me for the story.I will provide first 5 five parts of my story.

I'm a really shy person... butI have to read a story I wrote to the class and be critiqued. However, my problem is that whenever I speak in that class, I blush. I can just feel my face getting warm. It embarrasses me even more, and so I turn even more red!

Also, when I read in front of people, I feel short of breath and I have to pause too often. It only displays my nervousness even more, I don't know how I can keep my voice strong while reading for so long.
I wouldn't mind the presentation if it were anything BUT reading an essay I wrote out loud.
I can't look up, because it's not that type of presentation so I'll feel like people are judging me while I speak.

Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

In todays consumer culture men are often portrayed as womens objects of desire. This is a very recent evolution, probably a contingent effect of modern western feminist activism...
But what is to become of the traditional male pattern of sexual dominance ?
Is this objectification of male sexuality a crucial factor in the evolution towards gender equality? Is it becoming easier for a girl or a woman to seduce, to deceive a guy, making sex a personal conquest? Is she bound to search more actively since he is being desired just as well? Or will men use desirableness as a new means to negotiate pleasure?
What sounds most logical? And what is your opinion?
