why would they hide stuff from us?

they would hide anything that might have military uses on down the road, but right now they are fairly busy with Iraq..not sure they have much time for the secrets of the universe...

i don't know why people think that the governments have such smart people that have the answers to all the big questions and have it all kept secret.
the people in the government are not smarter then the voters they don't have the answers they didn't find a UFO and they sure don't know the answers. they are people just like you and me and they might not have any more of a clue then anyone else.

Galileo's govt kept universe secrets. Our govt couldn't. Too many media blabs, and most earthlings think the universe is a movie. Wish on a shooting star and enjoy...

No. The fact is that the universe is actually quite boring. Those that hope for something more than they see often reach for conspiracy and cover-up, rather than accept that the world is as it is.
