okay I have this problem where no man is good enough for me exccept this boy I have had a crush on since the fifth grade. and even though He broke my heart, my entire being refuses to let go of him. I am no longer open to thhe new things in life because I believe without him, my life is on hold. I am just waiting for him to come back. I don't know what to do. and the weird thing is that when i am with another boy when I go out, in the morning, i feel guilty and ashamed and empty. all i feel now is angst and i have no passion for anything that is why i don't pusue anything. maybe it is because i didn't pursue him that i feel like i have made the biggest mistake of my lie. i am 19 years old and never had a relationship and for a long time i was fine with that. but now it is getting to me slowly and i feel like i am always going to be alone. no one really knows me and i feel like what is the point bc i would get tired. so what i am trying to say is i feel unfufilled and i don't know why

Isnt that what everyone wants from a mate in a relationship? No one wants to be treated badly or cheated on or do they? What can I do to stop having what I consider to be admirable qualities about myself, being used against me?

My mother treats me differently than my siblings. I love my mother and my siblings they mean the world to me. I had always tried my level best to be a good daughter but no matter how hard i try to please her I never seem to get her aproval. It hurts me to feel this way. The only thing in life that brings me down and leaves me feeling weak and lonely is my mother's lack of affection towards me. Im not sure if it is normal to feel this way. I sometimes try not to think of it but no matter how hard i try i can never seem to avoid the conflict between the two of us. The outside world respects and think highly about me. Inspite of being known as confident person I suffer from a low self esteem, my mother has her special ways to bring me down. I dislike the way she takes sides when anyone of my siblings & I have a disagreement. I have a great job and I even manage people. But i can't have peace with the one person that matters to me the most. Do I need help

Becuase of this, I have seen 2 therapists and 1 pychiatrist. I have tried 3 different anti-depressants, but my body couldn't handle them. So, I have been dealing with it on my own for the most part. I am finally seeing a social worker not a therapist, becuase she was highly recommended by someone who sees her. Its been 7 months, and even though I feel better sometimes, I still have very low points. And I cry alot and feel very alone and still think about what I went through. I need to get my life back in order. I'm 29 yrs old and I feel my life crumbled before my eyes last year. Now I feel like I have to start all over, but now with low self esteem, I'm crying as I write this. I can't take this feeling anymore. And I dont know what to do. I have family and freinds that are positive, but that can only help so much. I feel I lost all motivation to help myself. Should I try another anti depressant? I tried lexipro, effexor, & zoloft. The more I feel I need it the more angry I get.

I saw this article about the effect of an increased minimum wage in Arizona (state law, not the federal thing). SUPPOSEDLY, this article says that business owners are "claiming" that they are having to cut back on "jobs" expecially for high school "kids". I thought Raising minimum wage wouldn't of caused unemployment, so this article is lying right? Did the oil industry pay them off?

So far I have a degree in communication studies, and I'm now wondering if that is a recognized degree in this field. I’d like to consider the idea of being able to use that, to get into a master program in this study.

Just looking for the education requirements, and if I can use my communications degree as the bachelor degree component. If anyone knows the salary figure for this career that would be helpful too.

Thanks

People always say you have to love yourself first before you can love another but how can you tell if you really love yourself? I can say that I love myself but how can I prove it? What are the signs of loving yourself and if you find out that you don't love yourself how can you love yourself more?

My wife is a lovely person (albeit with a strong personality), who has not had much success at all in working alongside colleagues who do not seem to want to help her integrate into the team. She feels that people are against her in the sense of rivalry, as she is both attractive AND intelligent, and from my point of view women tend to see this as a threat (as has also been said by other women the same as her). Due to this happening so many times in different jobs, she is now suffering from severe depression and panic attacks and cannot find a way out of the situation. She now feels that there is nowhere that she will be welcome and is in a very bad way. Any advice for her would be greatly appreciated.

Good people fail to get what they want even if they say they truly want it. How comes good people fail? What comes into their way to success and happiness in any sphere of their lives? What is the difference bettwen someone success and someones loses, given that they do the same thing?

My friend was insisting me to watch the movie names "X-Men" and so I did... For me it was just a piece of crap... I dont think that there are anything like mutants in this world... having "Goddy" powers... like someone who can change the weather with her thinking... or someone who can attract the metals towards him... or someone who can penetrate through a wall... What do you think is it possible or not...? Do you think your mind can work wonders...?

The Susan B. Anthony and the Sacajawea have been flops, basically. Now a new coin featuring presidents is about to be realeased. Is it the concept of a dollar coin, the design or (my personal choice) the size of the new coins? If it were significantly larger than the quarter, would it be accepted?
