WAITING FOR THE END (DEATH)

WHY IT TAKES SO MUCH TIME TO CHANGE ( LEARN ) YOUR LINE ( TRADE ) AFTER 53 ?
WHY DO PEOPLE CONSIDER YOU A LIABILITY, ONCE YOU ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF 53 ( YEARS ) AND JOB LESS.
BECAUSE OF THE GREAT............GLOBALISATION---------LIBERATIZATION--------PRIVATIZATION -----ETC. WE ( I ) TOOK (FORCED TO) VRS.
WE ( I ) DON'T BELONG TO TOP MANAGMENT. HENCE WHEN WE START LOOKING FOR JOBS......WE FOUND ( TOLD ) OURSELFS VERY OLD PEOPLE, NOT FIT FOR TODAY'S SETUP.
WHAT WE CAN DO NOW. THERE IS NO ORGANISATION OR NGO WHICH WILL HELP US IN STARTING A NEW LIFE AFTER VRS.
WE HAVE COMPUTERS AND WE THOUGHT WE CAN START SOME SMALL BUSINESS FROM OUR HOME, BUT WE DON'T KNOW HOW?
WE ARE READY TO DO SMALL JOBS BUT NO BODY THINK WE CAN.
SINCE THEN 4 YEARS PASSED AND NOW WE KNOW, WE ARE GOOD FOR NOTHING. AND NOW WE TOO BELIEVE THAT WE ARE A BIG LIABILITY.

Dear Sir,

There are millions of people like you sailing in the same boat in India ,may be in abroad too but with out the feeling of ‘waiting for the end(death)’

The options are,

1) Don’t lose heart. Keep trying to do something till the end( say upto 90 years or so?).
You may land up a job to suit your skill and liking with some income too and may be after some time some more years but keep trying keeps you engaged and not to get depressed.
2) Till you land up a job, try to join a voluntary service social service organization and enroll your self as a service person with out any remuneration but you are assured of the much needed social interaction and satisfaction of being useful to society.
3) Keep brushing up your skills in your old profession and like a bolt from the blue one day you may land up in a good job for more effective utilization of your time .This is like kings or governments keeping their arms and ammunitions ready for a war in the future.
4)Right now you are keeping yourself engaged and interacting with millions of people ,being useful to them in some way, provoking and kindling their thoughts for the benefit of some or many.
5)If you are interested you can furnish your mail ID so that many useful ideas will directly will come to you from people like you or from other well wishers. You can become a leader for such a group and find a common cause for meaning survival and subsistence for many decades to come.
6) You must try to find comfort and consolation from the good lives your near and dear are bestowed with .
7) Find time to read and write more other than yahoo answers etc.
8) People differ in capacities and none are equal or free from defects.
9) Are you the only person worst affected by globalization ,VRS etc in the whole of the World or in India ?
10) Try to live till so long you are healthy ( ie.wealthy) and till the call or final VISA comes from the other world free of body and its troubles.

Don’t for get about your usefulness to your family ,friends and relatives and to the society.

First of all, you should thank God that you have the ability to express your feelings to the world! There are lots of people who don't even express their feelings properly, and suffer whole life - doing only thinking.

Just for a moment, have a look at the human body...
There are two main parts in our (human) body. One is "above the neck", and the other is "below the neck". I guess you feed yourself (may be well!) regularly; that's for the “below the neck" part, isn't it?
Have you ever provided YOUR BRAIN the food of positivity filled with constructive, optimistic thoughts?
That's a key to the success of successful people. And those people are not your neighbours, are they?
You should associate with the people who are overcoming the problems you're facing today.

Remember this - whatever is happening to your life is perfectly OK and God-planned. And don't be shocked by this statement. Let me give you a few examples here, about how successful people never let their age become a barrier towards their success.

In the year 1914, at the age of sixty seven (67), Thomas Alva Edison (who invented the light bulb) had to go through a VERY difficult situation.
His million dollar factory was destroyed by fire. What you would do if you would have been in the place of Edison?
Edison did a creative thinking from this saddening experience and thanked God for all that had happed to him. And he told himself that all of the faults and mistakes were burned and destroyed… and he was ready to start over again. Only after three (3) weeks, he invented the Phonograph!

You see… how creative, optimistic thinking works.

You may have heard of Henry Ford. He was bankrupt at the age of forty (40).

Oh yes, the answer of "Jeancommunicates" reminded me of Ray Krock, the man behind the success of the McDonald's restaurants. Have you ever been told that he started the journey towards his success when he was just fifty nine (59) years of age!? And even worse, everyone thought he was mad!

These examples are NOT rare.

You may be thinking they're smart, genius or something like that. You're right! And remember, God never creates junk!
God loved them, and He loves you too.

YOU JUST HAVE TO PROVE YOURSELF!

Never let a problem become an excuse.

There is a great book about how to be an emotionally strong person, titled "Tough Times Never Last, But Tough People Do!" - written by Robert H. Schuller.

What that title suggesting you to do?
"The end"? - Nope! - Think again.

Learn from your joyful/painful experiences and go ahead.

The instructions you give to your mind, will be executed accordingly. So be careful. The decisions you make today will be your realities of tomorrow.

Look for possibilities that most of the people simply ignore or cannot see. There are lots of them.
When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this: You haven't! PERIOD.

Have you ever started thinking who you are? What is the purpose of your life?

If you think you are good for nothing - no body can lift you. Have confidence in yourself.

And don't you see a lot of old people still getting involved in various social works? Why don't you start a tailoring shop for village women? Why don't you go out, meet people in similiar situation, for a club or something, and raise some money to conduct usefull things like organising medical camps, promoting under-privilaged kids etc?

If you think you are a big liability - you are. If you think you can do something usefull - then you can. Just understand that it is your mindset.

When you take the responsiblity of society, the society will care for you. Spread an environment of love and harmony around you - and get back a lot of love and harmony.

And you started waiting for death :). That is the most stupid thing a man or woman can do. Start thinking about something creative, take responsibility, start doing some social activities - then you'll realize that you have a lot of potential - instead of blaming the whole world.

Only true self-less service will bring contentment to the life.
