Anyone know what my dream means?

Anyone know what my dream means?
So, a few months ago I had a dream about my best friend, lets just call him Matt. [he died a year and a half ago] This is how the dream went:
Matt came to my house and he told me he was talking me somwhere. So we got to a house and there was a lady there. He told me the lady was going to peirce my ears. She peirced them & they were bothering me, but Matt told me not to take them out. Then we went some where else and he gave me a ring. I ended up taking 1 ear ring out. Then Matt, 4 other friends, and I were hanging out and having a good time. We went somewhere [dont remember] and then we went to my house. We all talked for a little bit and then Matt said he was going home for a little bit. I walked him home and he told me he loved me.. then my other friendsand i went somewhere [dont remember where]. We were going back to Matt's to see if he wanted to come somewhere with us and his house was on fire. We tried getting in the house but we couldn't.
So I gave up and there was a swing and a lake in the back of his house. A lot of people were there. They were all partying watching the house burn down... I had my head down since I couldnt rescue my best friend.... then all of a sudden I was walking away and I looked down on my finger and I smiled.
So it was little weird since just I got my ears periced in December,and 1 got infected. And this is the 1st dream I have had of my best friend. What does this dream mean?? Please help... Thanks so much

i take this dream to be as most dreams are a way for your mind to cope with confusion. in the dream you have a friend Matt . you and him are good friends he gives you ear rings. that may be a symbolic way of saying he speaks and you listened.
the ring is a symbol of love that lasts . he gave you a ring you took it . you two have had a love that wont end. his house burns down that is his death. you see the party and the others just ignoring the party . that is your way of saying you feel the loss of Matt and wonder why others don't seem to be upset or care.
the lake the party the viewing of your finger are all signs that your mind is giving you to understand that you did what you could and that you know Matt would very much want you to understand that while he is dead that doesn't mean you are. you are to carry on remember him yes . know he is in love now that is the place he is love.
he and you both must carry on apart but never forgotten.
that's what i take this dream to mean.

Please except my sympathy for your lost. I believe your dream means the following.

The lady pierce both ears and they bothered you. It means that you have received two "prophecies."

He give you a ring and you took one ear ring out. It means that you lost a "prophecy" of getting married.

All of you were having a good time etc. until you give up. It means that you are going to have many problem relationships.

The people partying. It means that your love ones are going to rejoice when you get over your problems with Matt's death.

Lastly, you look down on your finger and smile. It means that you receive the other "prophecy" of getting married and you will be happy for the rest of your life.

supposedly your dreams are based on what happened that day or in the past. So that may be that. i have weird dreams like those to but their usually about stuff that happened a few days before.
