I was watching a documentary on channel 4 about EgoManiacs, I am a very self aware narcissist displaying all 9 of the stages of the disorder, should it worry me, also, is it dangerous?

Did anyone else watch this documentary?

On the quiz thing that the psycologist read, i answered 9 yes, and one maybe, out of 10, apparently anyone answering over 5 is an egomaniac!

Can this disorder lead to being institutionalised, or do you think people can live with it without it ever having an effect?

The 9 Stages

1. has a grandiose sense of self-importance - I refer to myself as a god
2. i will be very very rich
3. i am special
4. you should admire me
5. i deserve EVERYTHING GOOD
6. i use people to get what i want
7. i dont care about anyone
8. i think people should envy me, because i am better than them
9. Im Arrogant (seriously)

Tell me what you think!

NOTICE HOW EVERYTHING HERE IS ABOUT ME !

I totally agree with your RIGHT and FREEDOM to stay at home if you wish, but you absolutely cannot believe that is right for all women - what about those of us who want to use our brains doing other things than deciding how to cook the Lasagna or teaching little Freddie his ABCs... And what about infertile women? If you put the emphasis on women's biological functions to determine how they should act - what about women with different than normal hormonal balances and women who cannot have children? Men's roles are determined by their MENTAL characteristics and I don't see why women should have to be determined by their PHYSICAL ones.

Women's Lib has given women the freedom to choose. Would you prefer be subservient to a man, cooking and cleaning and raising the kids, uneducated, possibly beaten, probably not with a man you actually loved or chose...?

I know it's a hard thing to gauge. You can think about it anyway you'd like: financially, general happiness, if you own a house, married or single, etc. I get that everyone weighs things differently in life. Do you personally look at others in your age group and think you're ahead of the race or lagging behind? Why?

My best friend is going through the roughest time of her life. Her life just crashes down on her all of a sudden. As a resolution, she would cut herself everyday and cry. Besides that, she has lost interest in a lot of things, such as writing, and she has lost appetite. She tells me that she has only been eating lunch as the only meal of the day. I feel so bad for her. I've been talking to her and because of that, we've become the best of friends. I have told her that we need to find an adult for help but she is scared. I need some tips on how to help her without getting a professionals help please. This problem is getting worse as each hour passes by. I love her, and I need anyone out there to help me with this, as soon as possible, please. thank you oh so very much if u decide to help me out.

What would be the positives/negatives of a tax system in which Americans were able to determine the individual policies/programs their tax dollars would support? For example, after it was determined how much tax you owed, you could then fill out a sheet stating which programs those tax dollars would fund. Therefore, if someone was against the Iraq War, they could decide to not fund it, if someone was against a particular social program, they could decide to not fund it. If a person did not want to take the time to do this, they could leave it blank and Congress could allocate the money. I realize this could cause some programs to be "underfunded" and others "overfunded", but wouldn't that mean that citizens were letting their voices be heard regarding what they want their government to do for them? Additionally, this is in no way changing how much people pay, it is simply saying that citizens say where it goes, instead only voting every couple years for other people who then decide.

I know that sounds so non-understanding! I'm sorry but I have a friend who "suffers" from depression and she seems to do it just to get attention. Not to mention other teen friends I'm around that do the same thing. Maybe it's just a teenager thing but it seems to get worse all the time. I know that some people actually suffer from it! I just get so frustrated with the people who just want attention.
