I don't mean to be vulgar, but in my dream I was picking my nose, and got hold of a bugger that never ended. I kept pulling and pulling till it lay like a pile of spaghetti at my feet. What would this mean?

Still, for the sake of completeness, let's get you fixed up. Pick up the 'spaghetti' very carefully and call 911, telling them you need a neurosurgeon for an urgent reinstallation procedure.
(I know those are long words, but trust me, it ain't brain surgery. Errrrrr...actually, it will be...)

Well, I'm no Nostril-damus, but my interpretation is this:
It snot necessarily the act of pulling something long and never-ending form your nasal cavity or that then lay at your feet all gathered in a collection of nastiness- but rather what each element of this dream represents:
The act of picking your nose represents that you've been reaching for something... unknown... hidden... a mystery waiting to be unveiled and recognized.
The act of discovering it and continuing to pull it out represents the responsibility that comes with your discovery. The longevity, time consumption, and stress through the duration of making sense of it all.
And as the master of the nest-like collection over which you tower that could have only come from you- after all is said and done- represents this marvel discovery that will be admired by so many who will remain ignorant of it's origin- beknownst only to you yourself! :D
