i have to do aclinical placement and want some ideas re what i can do thanks for any help

Most social work programs have a director of field education. Most programs also have a list of placement opportunities (and a protocal for the placement process). Most programs don't encourage you to just go out and develop a placement (programs have to have a MOU signed and such). So I would meet with your field director to find out what is available. I would also suggest that you consider the population (e.g. age range, clinical issue, setting) that are of interest to you and/or what area you might want to get a job in.
