I'm currently at a point where I just don't know what to do for the rest of my life. I've tried majors like BioChem, Chemical and Biological Engineering, Bio-Molecular/Medical science, and now I'm thinking about pursuing Psychology or Culinary Arts. It's as if my interests are stepping down in power. Yet, the earlier majors I've already tried did not present many favorable results.

I am in search of a career path where I would be good at and enjoy doing for 365 days every year. I've taken personality tests/inventories and they've always produced results aiming at my artistic ability. I do have a large interest in music, architectural stuff, and even watching/analyzing people's behaviors. I like pointing out other's errors and mistakes. Even correcting them should I feel the urge to. I also like creating. Ever since I was young, I had a love for Legos. I liked drawing simple blueprints of existing structures and rooms. This I did often when I was in High School. Now, I'm just lost.

I heard it is not possible because if you die in the dream then you die for real. I personally have never dreamt so. I can dream of myself being hurt, dying, going to die, but I never actually had a dream that I am dead. I do not know of anyone who had such a dream either. Is there a scientific explanation to this? and have u ever had such a dream?

About me: I'm 27 - a game programmer by profession and tall, dark handsome like other Indian guys - it's just that I have observed some strange things about a few American girls I interacted with - based on that, many American girls are CRAZY or what

1. TWO MONTHS BACK: I was registered with a Penpal site and a 28-year old attractive Blonde from Pennsylvania suddenly comes to me and says "SHE WANTS TO MARRY ME" - was sounding desperate - and she says she would sponsor my US visa and all - I just said "I AM NOT PREPARED" - after a few phone calls, the story ended.

2. 15 DAYS BACK: There was another lady from Missouri (she said she worked with health agency) came with a similar proposition from AOL -again, she WAS DESPERATE.

3. TODAY: I was in a chat room where another girl comes from Georgia and she wants to COME DOWN to India and later she will sponsor my visa.

None of these events are related but what I wonder is WHY ARE SO MANY LADIES DESPERATE -they behave like Russian

I think many of you have seen the Kleenex commercial where the man is outside with a couch and a chair. He also has a box of Kleenex tissue. People come to him and they talk and tell about their life or what's going on in their lives. I was thinking about doing this as a community service project in my city on a trial basis to see how many people would actually use it. I think sometimes some people have no one else to talk to and many times it's easier to talk to a complete stranger. Of course, I would have confidentiality statements not to release any information.

What do you think about this idea?

flappers where all about showing skin, especially in the arm area. but i wonder if they shaved to appear more feminine or if they took the more boyish style as flappers did (bobbing of hair, taping of breasts) and leave the hair there.

...I am talking about my partner here, age 42, can some one really overcome alcohol dependence at this age. I feel it cannot be done with out therapy / counselling. However it appears not everyone is ammenable to " mind medicine" and fear it so. this time he really could loose myself and our two children - yet sober he is a lovely man and the kids adore him. He says I am his soul mate....although I love him, unfortunatley he is no longer mine, I've had to do some degree of detaching... any thoughts?? Thanks.

Starting college was something new to me and when people told me that college was a piece of cake, I seriously believed them-call me naive. Any who I am doing ROTC and I didn't do so hot this fisrt quarter so I took time off to get my act together, try to learn from what I am doing wrong and learn from it, find something that works for me. I was doing good in the beginning of the quarter, and still am in a couple classes, but yet I am not going to the full capacity I knew I could go to, or at least try to be at-because sometimes at the end of the day I feel so useless. Basically a paper was do Thrus. and this chick told me it was due Mon. And I came to class Thrus. unprepared, and it was due. So I spent the weekend working on my paper and my teacher said I would start at 70% percent and go from there. I turned in the paper but forgot the rubric. He basically said I need to get it together and he is right. Any techiques or word of advice on learning to be a better student?
