I like it that many black women are doing their hair in a more natural style, rather than damaging it by straightening it and making it look like it is lacqured in place. It looks beautiful.

Yes, I have noticed that a lot of black women on television tend to have afros. They also tend to be heavier in weight. I think that this is just a reflection of the sterotypes that exist in our society. On the other hand, I am glad to see us embracing a more "natural" look as opposed to that dreadful blonde straight hair that so many of us are now wearing. Don't get me wrong, I don't have anything against blondes, I just don't like when black women feel as though they have to look white in order to be accepted.

I have never noticed even one. theres tyra banks, oprah winfrey, star jones, theres brandy, mary j blige, will smiths wife, vanessa williams, I cant think of seeing alot of afros, and I like afros.
