In the last couple of years I've found myself attracted to the bdsm lifestyle and have a desire to be a submissive man. I've noticed, I'm not truly happy unless I'm doing something to make a woman happy. Why is this? What does it say about me?

Do you think there is always a choice? For instance, when you loose your sanity, do you have a choice at some point and decide to let go? Or, in case of an addiction, do you make the choice at some point, to give in to your addiction.
Or, like the Natalie Portman character mentions in "Closer", is there a point when you are about to fall in love, where you can resist it or give yourself to that feeling?

Assuming science rules, motivations are usually centered upon reproductive success strategies. These change as the situation changes - few women would care as much now if her male was physically aggressive to threats as they would have before, say, fire. So the prototypical American situation - or western society - how does it go? Is visual first, or knowledge of money, et cetera? Are women more likely statistically to prefer generous men, or more predictable, and usually successful, selfish men? Now that survival is not so hard, do women want men not much more intelligent than them, so they will not be overwhlemed, (ego thing,) or do they still go for the most intelligent man? Is it less about childbirth now? What are the strongest lasting influences on her determination of her optimal mate?

Please, no broad strokes. Give as much detail as you can. If you've got reliable, SCIENTIFIC sites, please list them. Thank you very much; happy holidays (maybe, if you celebrate).
Take care!

Yes people I want to conduct kinda online survey if that what you gonna call it that why do people want to live so very much. why? when they know they are going to die in the end. Death is an absolute certainity and I want you people to think about it. THINK FOR ONE MINUTE about the moments just before your death, and tell me how much you people love life.

I do love to live but death does not freak me out because it is my ultimate destiny.

Christmas was wonderful My husband and I enjoyed our very favoreite foods because it was just us. The grown up kids both called. Everything was wonderful and free and easy. I think it was the nicest Christjmas we ever had together. Today I just keep playing sad songs and wonder what this letdown is all about? Christmas was easier than ever and full of love. Why am I crying and playing sad songs? Tears?

I have several New Years resolutions: Get into shape, eat better, work harder in school, break bad habits, learn from my mistakes, do more things for my community and school, etc. The problem is I can never reach these. Sure, I'll attempt to, but I never, or very rarely get into a rountine. I want to be te ideal person I've always dreamed of, and I want the year to do it to be 2007. But how?
1. How do I get into a rountine?
2. How do I find the time? Working out requires exercise and time, I have singing lessons. homework, my job, and I want some free time too.
3. How do I keep going with it? Self control I know, but what else? I want to stick at it for more than a week or 2?
4. How long before it becomes a good habit? One I will do everyday or at least a couple times and week and not realize it.
Schoolwork and getting bigger muscles are the most important to me, so an emphasis there would be apprieciated. Thanks for your help and a Happy 2007!!

a man working in the executive position may earn up to $1000 every two weeks, but a woman working in the same position, same neighborhood, etc. earns about $ 850. everyone says that equality of the sexes exists, but how come you never see it? i mean come on, hilary clinton can run for president, but she earns less than george bush. im not sexist, but i think men have a lot more power over everything than women do.
