Depends on a lot of factors...you can go a lot longer without food than you can water. Didn't Gandhi go like 21 days with out food and only had sips of water?
You add NO water to the mix you are looking at 7 days...MAX.

The Surviving Of A Human Being While Fasting Depends On His Physical Condition.As Per I Know Record Of Fasting In India Was Performed By One Buddhist Monk.He Survived 205 Days Without Food.The Second Man Was A Freedom Fighter Named Narayan Mallick(I Think I've Messed Up The Name).I Do Know One Of His Close Relatives.He Survived 158 Days.I've Heard That To Break His Fast His Mother Had To Go On Fasting For 9 Days And She Became Very Ill.
But Friend,Don't Be Taken Away By The Mamata Banerjee Drama.This Woman Is Acting Completely.You Know She Is Surrounded By Curtains And Only Her Personal Doctors Are Allowed To See Her.Medha Patekar Went Fasting Publicly In The Past Year And She Was Hospitalized On The 9th Day.Then How Can Mamata On The 23rd Day Of Her Fasting Get Up And Issue A Verbal Challenge To The Government.She Is Clearly Cheating Everyone And Intaking Food.

It varies, but several weeks at least -- 23 days is a walk in the park. I personally once fasted for 5 days (not by choice, military training) and didn't even lose any weight!
