The fact that someone is asking you out means there is personal issue underlying between the two of you. It doesn't have to do anything with a romantic issue, it could just be that you are very close and that's who you dreamt about. Dreams should never be taken literally.

I have dream more than once DiCaprio was my son...
I have no children and you would think I want him to be it...
No!
It was so that I did met a boy whom I thought could have be.
Same eyes than me, same kind of way to be with people and even the same way to hang a bit while standing...
So, that was strange...
I interpreted the dreams with DiCaprio like it was even more likely that if I would have had a son regarding the kind of men I felt for, well you guess...
It was before Titanic and I only had seen some pictures of him once in a teenager room...
So dreams can mean very different things at a time...

dreams are your minds way of chilling out. Sometimes we store too much in memory, and it has to be organized by the computer in our head. Our dreams are fragments of thoughts that make more sense in sequence, so that is what out brain does with the information while we sleep. If it is a pleasant dream, enjoy it while it lasts, but don't put much importance to it. A lot of people dream of flying like a bird, so far, no one has done it.

It depends on how you felt about him in the dream. Were you appalled or happy that he was asking you out?

He could even be representing someone else in the dream.

Dreams are a way of releasing your own fear and desires, so the best person to interpret your dream is you.

I would have to go with sub-conciously your mind is either trying to work through relationship troubles, or why you dont have a guy that you get along with like him, or you think he feels like that about you a little bit. No one can say for sure but those are probably the top reasons why you would have a dream like that.

Everyone dreams about things involving people close to them. You probably have thought about what it would be like before and your brain was just re-opening the memory.

It may mean that you like him more than just a friend or that you feel like you will never care about a guy as much as you care about him.
