Are they generally unsure of how to react to anger directed at them?(as oposed to men?)I notice that most women get very quiet when a man seems like he's having a fit of emotional outburst or is about to.Is it the so-called"weaker sex"issue,or are women just more sensitive which causes them to be unsure in those type of situations?

I fell in love with someone almost 4 years ago...the moment i saw her the world stopped. Over the last 4 girlfriends that ive dated since then none of which have equaled what I felt for Shannon. I hear that true love is possible, but I keep hearing it from people who are rich so its almost impossible to believe. In all seriousness does anyone know of such a thing as a second true love? P.S. Anyone whos family thinks only of money need not apply I.E. if your parents gave you a lexus or above for your 16th birthday

I'm a naturally gameless guy. I have such difficulty talking to girls when sober that it's shameful. But when I have been drinking, I can turn into a smooth talking Don Juan. Problem is, the line between Don Juan and Mr. Hyde is blurred and I can become a crazy drunk doing crazy things. Luckily I havent gotten into trouble, and done something illegal, but I've come close. Very close.
Should I just quit drinking and resign myself to being a lonely loser or continue on my path of dr. jekyll mr. hyde?

Are certain people just born negative or is it something that developes, and is there away to cure it. My father pointed out last night that I am the most negative person he has ever met, We took my son to see santa and all I did was complain and find fault. And being so negative only leads to one thing, countless bad luck, as my mother often points out, if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck, anything that can go wrong does with me, even my doctor stated last week, i've not had much luck, I've had more medical problems in my 25 years than most people have in there lifetime. Anyone any advice??

I asked this guy if he was getting a strawberry shortcake tatoo and even if he won't admit it, it upset him.The thing is,he made a joke about me,and we continue to rib each other(jokingly of course because we're acquiantances),but it seems what i said upset him in more ways than one.Was this an inappropriate joke directed towards him?In other words, does saying something like that insult someone' manhood?

I broke with my girlfriend - with my first girlfriend.

No, I'm not dead, but trying to live and get over it. I'm flirting again with other girls, but I simply can't forget her a single day.

I remember her face in my mind; I listen to her voice to me in my head; I can almost feel her lips...

I see her in everything!!

When I go to the park we used to, I feel like crying, screaming... Don't things much worse...

And I know that there is no way we can get together again...

And I know I can't say this to anyone. We men are supposed to be strong, aren't we? Oh, and how pathetic would it look like!

..

If I could just... hug her with my soul, perhaps my emptiness would fade away... at least for a second...

.............

I don't know what to do... I don't know what to think... I just hate to feel.

I know someone close to me who is unsure life is worth living. Each day he seems closer and closer to truly believing it's not worth living. He's not suicidal. Nor do I believe he would do anything without me see it coming but it might be closer than I like to believe. He's an average, single, good looking person. He has many friends and no one else knows how he feels. He always talks about the news and the crises around the world. He's intelligent and well spoken. He tells me that everything that was once fun, no longer brings him the enjoyment it once did. His problems don't seem directly associated with anything. He just seems like life is no fun. I've told him to get help but he doesn't think it's a problem. He believes he has no real problem and that he "just doesn't care." I don't know what to do.

What do you think of this quote: Never show tears of sorrow for anyone because it is not worth it. Anyone who is worth your tears would not let you cry for them.

a friend told me this quote. even tho i know it is impossible to never cry, it makes a lot of sense doesn't it? i would really aprreciate it if you let me know your opinion.

I get pretty upset about the government making stupid decisions.
Examples:
-Marriage is only between a man and a woman (does it REALLY matter!?)
-You cannot have an abortion! (even though you really can't afford this, aren't ready for this, you're going to go have an illegal abortion now anyhow, cause these idiots aren't going to solve your problems, only you can).
I just wonder if anyone would just concede and accept that society controls you? (I'm thinking, nobody is that big of a pushover. So, then we know that all these stupid causes in their current forms are completely worthless, even if successful!)
