Eccentric people are just different, unconventional, wacky and interesting. But they pay their bills on time and are hygienic.
Crazy people are insane. Insane people cannot function on their own. Technically, that is the definition of insane.

Ahaha. Mental insanity is a brain disorder that harms the insane person or those around them. They have no control over it. Eccentrics are the same in the way that they can't control who they are- it's just the way they are and always will be. And there's nothing wrong with that because it's not self harming! Eccentrics are truly happy the way they are, and in my opinion, everyone needs one in their lives.
PS... the quote "Poor are insane and rich are eccentric" means that the poor are often brushed off (in this case as insane) while everyone listens to the rich and makes excuses for them because OBVIOUSLY they're better (sarcasm).

The amount of money in one's bank account is the determining factor on whether someone is "eccentric" or "crazy". If one is "loaded", then it is given that he or she is eccentric. On the other hand... If the "boyz po", then you just got to call 'im crazy. When you break these things down like that...it becomes quite simple, really.

That's simple enough; I'm considered eccentric if I do the strange or the unusual and crazy if I carry it one step further and expect others to do the same...or to understand it! My daughter has decided that I'm still in the safely eccentric phase, so please, don't tell her any different.

well.....to me eccentric people are people who are not afraid to be themselves and are not afraid to stray from the crowd...they are often the ones who set fashion trends rather than following them....
and crazy people often have a mental condition that keeps them from thinking clearly....
often the two are put together as one by society and thats something that will be around for a long time.....just because someone acts or looks different does not make them crazy...i swear!

Most people are going to tell you that eccentrics are just crazy people who have money. I disagree.
Eccentric people do things that are "odd" or "off the wall," or "strange."
Crazy people do things that are dangerous or harmful to themselves or others.
See the difference?
