I haven't reached forever yet, although some seem to think I have due to the silver crowning my head where once played a golden brown, but yes, it is possible to FEEL (mentally) that a person is a kid. That's in between the responsibilities of being an adult such as earning the paycheck that sees the family fed and sheltered and such mundane details as getting the truck tuned up, but there is always time somewhere during a day to still be innocent and naive, at least mentally. Even if it's just a few minutes taken out to admire how nature interacts with itself or a flower blooms, or on the best days when playing with the grandchildren the same games I played as a child and with my daughter, it is the attitude of the mind that gives back that wonderful time of innocence once more and the lucky can keep it always. Now 52 going on 7and plan on chasing butterflies and being facinated by fireflies for the next 40 years or so.

A child's sense of wonder about existence is crucial for ultimate mental health. But, a child's innocence, that sanctum from the harsh realities of existence and Life's trials, precludes one from fully actualized mental health. Ultimate, complete health is to be in balance with nature and reality. One cannot find balance by squatting on steady land. Profound and ultimate health grows from the experience we gain when we have to "find" our balance often while the ground is shaking beneath our feet. When we find that mental/emotional natural balance, then we get to truly be children and live in awareness and wonder the remainder of our lives.

Yes, my whole family is that way! It's great, we have a great time and people love to be around us because we are so fun! What does it matter when you take care of the important things in life bills, work ect, how mature you act? I feel so sorry for all the people who sad no or it's not normal. What is the point of living if you can't make things fun in life?

I think what would be better is to grow into adult hood and keep a little of the kid in you forever. As long as you take responsibility seriously.

Sure, this is where we come to know the imature vs the mature in nature as a presedence to the other. There are those who remain child like for most of theirlives without change, due to incapabilities to cope with necesary realities.
