I fell in love with someone almost 4 years ago...the moment i saw her the world stopped. Over the last 4 girlfriends that ive dated since then none of which have equaled what I felt for Shannon. I hear that true love is possible, but I keep hearing it from people who are rich so its almost impossible to believe. In all seriousness does anyone know of such a thing as a second true love? P.S. Anyone whos family thinks only of money need not apply I.E. if your parents gave you a lexus or above for your 16th birthday

I know exactly what you mean. I do believe that it is possible, you just need to be patient, and hopefully someone whos right for you will come your way.

I do not believe that there is just one soulmate for every person. There are just too many people in the world for that to seem true. I believe we have soulmates, people we've experienced other lives with and they can be our friends, lovers, family, coworkers, strangers on the bus etc., but that there are many, many of them. Not just one "true love" per lifetime. That seems like a bit of a waste of a life when the relationship ends early. Move on to the next love and live life with joy as it is intended.

BTW: I'm far from rich, but unsure how being rich can disqualify one from answering this question. The rich have souls, brains and opinions that count too.

Yes, I believe I can fall in love again, and here is why I believe this.

Everytime I fell in love, the relationship ultimately fell apart and I was devastated and felt as though I would never love someone that way again. But then I fell in love again. Now, I have evidence of my past experiences to support my belief that i'll fall in love again, despite my feelings that I will not. Simply put: Everytime I've felt that way, I was proven wrong. It's highly probably that in the future I'll be proven wrong again. That is why I believe I can fall in love again.

Yes it is possible. I was married to my 1st wife for 23 yrs. I worshipped the ground she walked on. Then she had an affair and we ended up getting divorced. I thought I'd never get over it but one day I met a wonderful lady who brought me out of the shell I'd crawled into and taught me to trust again. We're now married and I love her to bits. She's my soul mate.
And we're very far from being rich. We live in an ex council house and have to watch every penny.

Yes of course! Love is not a subject outside of your soul! If you are capable of loving someone, you can fall in love for infinite times. the reason why people keep saying that ppl fall in love for 1 time or 2 in life the result of not being able to find people who deserve to be loved. It has nothing to do with money! i am married and this was not my first love and neither his first love but this is the biggest and greatest and deepest love and relationship we had.
and he is not rich and i am not rich and i dont understand how you connect love and money? True love is possible..believe me!! If her love is true, she wont care about money. only people who care about money are the ones who imitate being in love!

I think that it depends on the person. Sometimes they fall in love and won't let them selves love another person, I don't really believe that people will fall in love with one person and then someone else comes in and then they fall in love with that person also and forgets about the other person, even though that can happen but then i wouldn't classify it as "true love".

Most definately and it will happen when you least expect it and to someone you might like at first and then you fall in love so deeply you wonder how you ever lived without the new love.
