I know someone who is a very nice, intelligent person but can't seem to find anyone who would love her? She is attractive and bright and cares for other people and has a great sence of humor. Are some people just ment to be alone for the rest of their lives? And are they un-lovable? What can I tell her to help her?

Life is good, my job is exciting and challenging, home life is fine. The last couple of weeks have been especially good, but I've been feeling a bit stressed as well as being happy.
Then last night I had such an angry dream, I shouted and screamed and swore, then woke up feeling calmer than I have for a long time.
Where is this anger coming from?
And no, it's a while since I was a teenager!

every american on heres always so nice to me, gives me quality advice and seems to genuinly care..sean hannity is always saying americas a great place and your blessed to live there, that every american never wants to pry into your life and will try to help best way they can, and i believe sean hannity i listen to wbap regularley, the news and talk of texas and wish i was there....i worry because england is such an aggressive place now, with violent crimes and i often wonder how i could ever get to the states or canada..with me not working and battlin psychiatric probs.....your answers will probally be, i never can...which means im doomed to stay here where i dont want to be..is this the case? please dont say learn to be happy here, because i truly dont wanna be here

My husband is getting on my nerves like you wouldn't believe - over Christmas presents.

Christmas for me is a time of wonder, a time for family being together, a time to eat good food, and have a bit of chocolate. It's a time to relax, enjoy the pretty lights and the christmas carols.

I really cannot be bothered with what I get for presents. There is nothing I want or need, but am always really grateful for whatever I am given. I have no pre-conceptions about what I will be receiving - it's not about the gifts for me. Having said that I always try to buy nice things for my husband and step-son, because they put more interest in the gifts.

As Christmas rolls into view - the only question I am asked several times a day is 'What do you want for Christmas?'. I keep saying 'I really don't care what you get me - I am happy for anything'. But that's not enough - my husband harps on about it and it's really getting on my nerves!!

It's ruining the wonder of Christmas for me!

im 29 have psychiatric problems that im working through. but when i think about girlfriends i dont want anyone that just comes along..somebody for everyone an all that crap....i would specifically like a girl of 19/ 23 plump or chubby not obese, she must have pale fair skin and fair features like ginger hair or blonde natural.she must be white caucasian .... .i dont want dark haired girls or any girl with a tan, i dont want anybody of colour or ethnicity i dont want it...these are my preferances for an ideal girl for me is this so wrong?? the way i feel if i cant have what i want, i would rather have nothing and die alone.....is this so wrong? im not racist but these are what i want or nothing. nothing at all

At work, I'm responsible for ensuring the backup of systems. But something happened at work that caused my attention to be divided, and I forgot to complete the backup of one system. I work with hot-headed people who have bad tempers and as a result I feel guilty and stupid for what I did (or, in this case, what I didn't do). I can't seem to think of this situation in a different light; how can I make myself feel better?

i have such low self worth a very low opinion of myself where i just dont feel good enough or worthy of the oppisite sex, i know certaintly that this comes from my history where i was bullied and taunted at school and couldnt fit in high school. also me and my mum had a close relashionship and still do growing up and my mum as a young woman suffered from low self esteem and was a private woman and i feel because i was so close, it rubbed of on me...but im 29 now and im just wondering is there a way to overcome such low self worth where you dont feel good enough for any girl?ive been picked on alot in my life and told in one way or another i wasnt as good as them or good at all or worth loving or liking and i really struggle with it now..anyone no ways to overcome this? can it be overcome?

When I was about 11, year 2000 (now 17) I moved to a bad place, met two of the wrong people and they started me on marijuana. The three of us became best friends. One of them started earlier and had a big time supplier and we stayed high all the time. We stuffed and smoked abot 5 blunts (swisher sweets) every day. We never ran out and none of us had to pay. We are no longer friends.

So I was a heavy smoker for about 4 years (until 2004) when I quit. I was 15. I was already enduring so much pain beacacuse I moved to the US from Ethiopia with my dad and I was ripped from my mother, siblings and friends at 9.

I started getting better since I quit but I feel like I lost my soul. I feel so empty, I forgot everything about my past time. The loss of my memories is what hurts me most. I feel lifeless souless. Sometimes I wonder if I am really alive. But it seems like I do a good job at covering up my true state of mind.

I just want my life back, my memories, my sanity.

"What people would think stupid, others would think deeper"
Do you think I should change some words. Here's what it means... It means whoever thinks something is stupid, there would be somebody else who would have another idea to it. I thought of it when my stepdad started to say how show's like Wife Swap, Deal or No Deal, or whatever cartoon is stupid and pointless. He works for NASA. But me, I think some of them are very psychological like Wifeswap which is like a reaction like chemicals but with people. And other people have to make a living. Anyways I'm no expert but what do you feel about the quote. Is it good enough or does it need fixing. Or how do you feel about what it means?
