anonymity breeds a false sense of courage

Well, whenever you allow anyone with Internet access to respond to things anonymously, what would you expect?

Some people do take things seriously, but, really, some of this is just plain silly too.

I try not to carry over my feelings about one question to another - I've even had people "sucker" me into reading their posting by having misleading questions and lots of details underneath which aren't what I was expecting. Sometimes, it annoys me, but while I try not to let that affect my responses, I'm only human too...

For the most part, etiquette as a whole is an exception rather than the rule, nowadays.

Being online and somewhat anonymous behind the veil of a computer makes it nearly extinct.

Because were homosapiens and has the choice of being respectful or disrespectful. But I say BOOOO, till disrespectful people!

In my experience I find it is easier for people to release their anger and frusturations on others over the phone or via internet rather than in person. ******* cowards. Anyways don't let others' crappy attitudes get you down.

I think it's mostly kids, who if they talked like that in the real world would get their but kicked. They have this new found freedom and so they get a little carried away.
