Slutiness is all over the media, but 'giving it away' is frowned upon.
If Paris Hilton, the most slutiest of all sluts, is on the cover of 'Teen' magazine, but we discourage being a slut, isn't that sending mixed messeges to everyone? especially young teenage girls? I was reading Teen magazine when I was 13 and Paris Hilton was certainly not on the cover then! Otherwise I wouldn't have been allowed to read it!
Whats your take on this subject?

I have re-occuring nightmares about my mom just before she passed away. She was cremated and wanted her ashes scattered in the ocean. I live inland and have not been able to afford a trip to the sea yet but I feel really bad about not fulfilling her wishes because its been four years. I have a feeling once I do it, the dreams will stop.

Seem that human all over the world opted and try their best to cover their head and let the rest of their body wet! I also have seen an ape do the similar thing by getting a big leaf to cover their head during a National Geographic Society documentary film. If we dont have any suitable cover available, why not just walk in the rain without trying to cover the head even with our own hand! - just like kids having fun in the rain! Why should we cover our head whilst the whole body is batterred by the rain? It does'nt make sense!

I saw something very disturbing on Yahoo answers yesterday. A 50 year old man asked if it was legal to walk around dressed like 5 year old girl simular to Shirely temple. I saw his picture, all dressed like a southern belle. It was the creepiest thing I have seen. It looked worse than a drag queen. What exactly do you call that kind of person?

I have had to walk on eggshells with my younger sibling my whole life. We are both in our 30's now, and I find that our relationship is pretty much the same as when we were kids. I won't get into the details of my sister's behavior except to say that I was doing some school research and came across a book on borderline personality disorder, and it describes my sister perfectly. I always thought she needed serious counseling, but never suspected anything to hit the mark so close.

I read the book and learned all about BPD. Now I want to know what do you think of BPD? Do you think it's B.S., or do you think it is a legitamate illness? It seemed to me that on one hand, they can't help their perspective of the world and are out of touch with reality,, and on the other hand they can control their actions but just let their imaginations get out of control.

I have a research paper to do, and I wanted suggestions for any interesting topics for my economic problems class. There is no other criteria except that it has to be within the last 2 years. I would really love to hear what some people find as interesting topics! Thanks ahead of time!!

IT really bothers me. My bf drive me crazy. He is jealous of everything and everybody, if he sees something or hears someone talking about doign something, he wants to do it too. I feel he cant make up his own mind or make his own choices. Is it me, or is it annoying?
It worries me because that means he gets influenced by others or any situations he is surrounded by. He is the type of person who will buy something even if he cant afford it, just because you are buying it. If I say I want to go out and do something with my girlfriend, he says well am gonna go out and do something too. If I say I am shopping on the internet at bed bath and beyond, he gets on and says he is shopping on the internet for something too...
I dont get it, like he is always so competitive or trying to one up people, or me, or copying others .........ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,
I know, I know am losing my mind !!!

I know of all the magazines, etc, out there that appeal to women. What websites, publications, etc, give a true image of what women care about, feel, etc, that a man could read and maybe get a little better perception on how the average woman ticks. It seems to me the more you know, the better you will be to them...any tips?

I think I do because:
He puts me above everyone else.
He never NEVER starts arguments, if they start-I did.
He never speaks badly of others.
He helps with housework, does all laundry, most of the cleaning.
He would rather be with me than anyone else.
He does not mind my dad living here since he is old (my dad).
I had two children previously and he helps raise them.
We had a baby and he helped a LOT with the baby.
He works a full time job.
He does not drink a lot or do drugs.
If my day is bad, he rubs my back until I fall asleep.
He rubs my feet almost every day.
He goes and fills my tank up if I don't want to go get gas before I go somewhere.

Ladies, if you knew my husband, YOU would make yours get it together. You would realize that you should never settle for who is there, but go find the BEST!!

Now, who has a husband that they are satisfied with?

Do you think these days too many people are looking to be "diagnosed" with something instead of taking responsibility for themselves?
Having will-power, or just admitting that they are not doing things as well as they could?

I don't really want to give examples because I know people will just yell THESE ARE REAL DISORDERS. But here goes:

a child is hyper and won't follow rules at school - the parents, instead of disciplining them think it must be something like ADD or a learning disorder.
a person loves eating and thinks they must have binge-overeating disorder/sugar addiction

my fave: a person is feeling down and concludes that they must "have depression"

What's so wrong with just saying "i feel.." or "i spend too much time.." This is just one of my faults or what i'm giving into just now?

Why does there need to be a dramatic reason or excuse for why people act the way they do? Like it's out of their control?
