Life is meant to be lived. Death is the inevitable end of all life. However if you spend your time thinking about death you're never going to really enjoy life and thus you're practically wasting your life. Enjoy what you have, while you have it. Never become too attached to anything and always be ready to move on.

That's a good question, look at it like this, if I am understanding correctly, death is not natural, so while we live, we have a certain amount of security, peace, so that we can function properly, when faced with death, how do we act? Scared, and when death is right in our faces, we fight for what is natural, and normal to us and that is to live. So, my dear, if I understood correctly, there's your answer.

No one forgets death. Everybody knows that we're all going to die eventually. Some people even obsess over it... but why care so much and be frightened of the inevitable when there's so much luxury proffered by life?

Even though the death and ageing are certain, let us not worry so much about that and let us start living every moment.Otherwise the whole life wuld become meaningless.

You are mistaken. You cannot forget the future since you do not have that knowledge. A life lived in fear of death is not lived to its fullest.

*We often forget our deaths bcoz the satan always makes us so busy in this world, worldy activities n all *****(prohibited) works that we r busy in our lives n develop wish n greed n desires to live in this fake world that we dont wish to die but to live a long life which according to a true muslim is not right.
*So one shld ALWAYS have true n strong belief in Allaah, follow his orders, follow sunnah of prophet(saw) n do good deeds n always remeber ur death atleast once a day, inshallah it will be easy for ur life n for ur death also n INSHALLAH SATAN WILL NEVER MISGUIDE US.
*May Allaah guide us all on d right path of islam ameen.

We do? I don't. My fear about death was overwhelming. I'm better now but it still crosses my mind 2 or more times a day. Thanks John L for the e-mail you sent me.Thanks. I hope that maybe it helps someone who is also afraid to die. Maybe they won't feel as alone.

I dont know what you are talking about but I havent ever forgotten about death. In fact I welcome it in any day of my life. I am a born-again Christian and I know where I am going. I have no problem handin myself over to God.

Be cause human beings tend to not truly believe they will die one day.It is like an accident or a heart attack. We believe it only happens to others.
We do not want to comprehend our own death.Thankfully I am a christian & it doesn't bother me.
