Ever since my daughter started attending college she's been taking womens studies/feminist classes, and I think her college is brainwashing her. She has become obsessed and radical about feminist-issue related things and it has gotten to the point where she yells at strangers (men) who open doors for her out of politeness. She tells them that the reason they open doors for her is because they think she's too weak to open it herself cause she's a woman.
How can I get her to stop being so radical, and is her college brainwashing her?

Are we a country of well-educated, dedicated, and disciplined people who are generally considerate of stangers or are we a country of lazy, ignorant people who don't generally care about others outside of our circle of friends/family? As an American myself, I would like your opinion. Yes, I know that I am asking for you to form a generalization about your own country. I mean no insult by this question and I am extremely proud to be a 4th generation American so please don't bash me because you assume that you can tell what my opinion is based on the question.

I have always been a fairly happy person but for about the past year I have been in a downward spiral. I am unhappy with every aspect of my life. My work, my living arangments, my money situation, my relationship, even my family is putting extra stress on me (through no fault of thier own). I have tried everything i know to do to make it better. When I feel like this I can usually work thru it on my own but the more I try the worse it gets. Every one says if it is that bad then it can only get better but they are wrong. When I think I am as low as I can go I only go lower. I am below rock bottom.

I would never take my own life but sometimes (most of the time now) I wish my time would be up just so I didn't have to feel this way any more.

Im in quick sand. Help me please.

what i am asking here is how emotion may help us survive as a species, and how emotion may be hindering us.

I am graduated into college by the way. Anyway in my highschool I went to there's this history teacher that likes to flirt with his students, kiss girls on the lips and hold them while at a game as if they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Well I hated this and while I was in Jr. High I told my favorite teacher who was a woman what he did and then he denies it all and starts making up stories about me hitting on him and treating him like his boyfriend. Well that isn't true because I hardly ever talked to him and if I called him about an assignment I'd freeze up and hang up (that happened twice) that's the only thing I did.

So what does this behavior of this guy mean? I hate him by the way.

In October 2001, Democrat Senator Walter Campbell issued the Scarlet Letter Law...A law that stated that all Florida women that were wanting to put their child up for adoption would have to publically state their names, age , race, sex, and all their sexual partners in the newpaper...the add would run once a week for four weeks straight...this was was only effective for 18 months..However, is trying to become reeenacted again...

This law would alos apply to all rape victims as well...
Do u believe that it would possibly increase the number of abortions performed?

Does it violate the privacy issue??

Whats next from the Govermant are they going to have everyone that is HIV positive publically state their names too with all their sexual partners...

This could be done in a better way without humiliating the woman d u agree?

every digital alarm clock I have ever seen has a 9 minute snooze fuction. it seems to me that an even 10 minutes would be more practical... so, then why 9 minutes?... are we deliberately being prevented from enjoying an additional minute of rest/sleep by the government of big corporations as a means of mind control through sleep deprivation? I await your thoughts...

My friend is happy one second, and unhappy the next. He takes things out on me that aren't my fault, then the next day he apologizes for it. He doesn't sleep - and has a drug problem in the past. He has attempted suicide before. He talks down to me and recently told me that we could never be a couple because he can't talk to me at a certain level.

Why does he say these things to me? Are these signs of being bi-polar?

To promote mental illness truth a good protest sign is needed. Sadly, the most popular phrase so far was my US senator’s mental illness problem. (Based on people looking at the mentioned website.)

What short protest sign phrase would make people look at website for more mental illness truth? Getting the news to pay attention is another desired result. (We also don’t want to break any laws to do it.)

Do you get caught up in the fact that they don't care if they are right or wrong, they just want to pull you in and get you upset. Or do you just stay calm and don't let them get to you. I am just curious how people react to each other in this situation.
