For the past few nights I have been dreaming about myself going into public places without any bottoms on except "Thongs".

You are feeling very vunerable and "exposed". Something/someone in your life is making you feel fearful and humiliated.
Alternatively, this could mean you have been hiding something, but are now exposed.
