Do you get caught up in the fact that they don't care if they are right or wrong, they just want to pull you in and get you upset. Or do you just stay calm and don't let them get to you. I am just curious how people react to each other in this situation.

depends on the situation, I liketojust let theperson do their thing, in my mind saying "yeah whatever". If the person is being hurtful, rude,or disrespectful to others, I step in.

They may be expecting a reaction from you or they may not know any better.
The best answer is if you can figgure out their motivation, and calmly deal with it. Careful compassion is usually the best answer. It annoys the hell out of people who were looking for a bad reaction and it gives strengh to people who need it. I say careful because some people do not know what they want or how to react, just as you were worried about.

Generally, I too avoid them (surpressive personality)..
Other wise...it's zip ties and duct tape (at least in my head).

if you can't avoid them , stay calm as much as possible then play by their roles ; ACT UNREASONABLY with them ...
