if there is something that you see that is a temptation
remove it best you can.
for example, if its a eating habit,
remove the junk from your house.
its harder to eat a pie, if you don't have a pie
it is helpful too to tell your freinds and faimly you are working on something, and please not to temp you.
if you are at work, and trying to quit smoking, tell your smoke buddies youa re trying to quit, and please don't invite you for smokes....
you can control your habits,

I believe that you can control most areas of your brain, but it's very hard. Example, when you are nervous and anxious, it's all in your head. But, how many times have you said that to yourself and you're sitll nervous? You can control habits, it's when they become habitual that they become hard to break.
