I'm trying to find some more information on how to deal with someone who is afraid of getting close to someone. Their mom died when they were young, so now they tend to like to have a lot of people around them, but not let them get too close. They got very close to me, sharing very intimate things, and now I believe is afraid that they got too close so they pulled away. Are there any informational sites that can help in knowing what to do in this situation?

My boyfriend says that every dream that he can remember is in cartoon form ... like I guess Roger rabbit or something ... I have looked in all sorts of Dream books and there is no discription for these types of dreams. We were just wondering if anyone else dreams like this or at least knows what it means... Thanks

if my mom asks me a question i might answer it with another question. i don't mean any harm i'm just trying to figure out why she does things becuz we don't get along on alot of things. she'll start getting mad, we'll start arguing, she tells my sister and my granny, and now everytime i see a famiy member they're talking about my attitude. i talk to people but i prefer to be alone and feel like i'm independent becuz i'm only 13. i feel like my family can't except that. am i wrong for feeling this way and acting like i do?

One of the people I know did this for fun, and I was like how the hell did you do that? He said he just could. I was wondering if I could get a more appropriate answer here.

k so this is how my science project works. Im testing the media's effect on children. I take children from grades 4-6, give them different types of music to listen to, like rap, rock, r&b, etc and tell them to draw whatever they feel like. I also ask them questions while they're listening like how they feel, what they would most want to do right now, etc. Please give suggestions of other methods i could use that could give accurate results.

This morning I dreamed this very thing. I was running from a girl (maybe a woman?) that I didn't know. I hid in an abandoned house. She almost found me but she didn't.

I was tormented by this dream because I was conscious that I was tossing and turning in the bed. I was still asleep but knew I was dreaming because I thought, "Just wake yourself up and stop this dream." and I did.

Even if the guy is a good guy, why is it still assumed by the majority of women? Is there some sort of communication barrier which entitles them to cut off verbal explaination, then assume the other person could read between the lines and know the true meaning of the statement?
There are guys that do it too, but this is more of a girl thing.
A lot of guys get annoyed when this "hint dropping" occurs and I just want to know:
Is it a type of conditioning of the past where women decide to not give straight answers and questions? Or is it a natural type of "guessing game" that is embedded in the brain?

Many people today see beautiful as what the super stars set the standards at. Do you believe that the Beautifullness in being beautiful is what you feel inside about yourself or do you think its what other people mark you as??

This is not a kinky question nor is it intended to offend anyone. I've known different women to react differently to such situations. As a woman, do you get flattered? Angry? Offended? Uncomfortable? Why do you feel the way that you do?

(For us men it is different, as most guys would get offended or feel weird if that happened. I'd like to understand and know if women feel the same way, or not.)

I have Bipolar, ADHD, Depression, ODD & OCD. Lately, I have been saying sorry for EVERYTHING. Even for things that I don't need to say sorry for.

Like if I say something about something, then I will say 'Sorry for bringing it up'.

I don't even know why I do this. To me, inside, it almost feels as if if I don't do it then something bad will happen. It is a weird feeling.
But, when I get mad at something or someone I don't feel like I HAVE to punch them or anything. It is just the sorry thing.

I don't understand it. This 'sorry' thing has been pointed out to me numerous times.

Could this have something to do with my OCD? I really need some help because I can't see my Psychiatrist for like another month.

Thanks in advance! Any help is appriciated.
