You've only spent 29 cents.

In the grand scheme of things your teens and 20's should be the educational years.

At 29, in an ideal world, your eduction would be behind you and have already started working in your field of choice.

Your thirty's then would be the time to begin to become an expert at what you do as your age and experience will lead you to it.

Your 40's should continue that trend but you will begin to see that perhaps all work and no play truly does make Jack a dull boy.

While in your fifties you should be the top expert at what ever you do. Many top executives would fall in the age group and if you are technical, everyone would come to you for advice.

Generally your 60's will then enable you to see what you may have not done in your life that you wish you had and if the other decades had been handled correctly you could begin pursuing those dreams.

As I said....in a perfect world....but because that doesn't exist age 29 at it's best is neither young or old. And you are about to embark on what should be the best years of your life. Your 30's.

This decade should be lived to the fullest. Your old enough to know what life is all about and young enough to do something about it. Never let a day go by that you don't do something you enjoy. And love your family with all your heart.

29 is a great age. Still a lot of future, and maybe a sucessful past. Hopefully some wild oats have been sowed. There is still time to be "un-adult", but, it is time to start thinking about the next phase of life (waking up hungover every Saturday at 29 isnt as "cool" as at 25).

Well, at that age one can still find jobs fairly readily, depending on the person's field. In the computer industry 26 is over the hill for most jobs. By 45 one becomes unemployable in most industries. and by 55, if you are lucky, you might get a job as a greater at the Walmart, or a job at a gas station (ooops sorry, they only hire kids now a days at gas stations), sorry, I guess that leaves the Walmart or collecting carts in store parking lots.

SCARY - Still feeling like a 'twenteen' but knowing that you really should have grown up by now as you are nearly 30!!! (I would be shocked if I saw a 30 year old act like I do - I will stop as soon as I hit 30............... PROMISE!!!!! (NOT)!!!!!)

I hate it - I still love going clubbing, but its funny how your prospectus on things change - I used to go clubbing to meet boys, get drunk and to have a good dance - Now the last thing I want to do is meet any boys or get drunk, but I still want to dance, but only cos I see it as a fun way to keep fit!!!!
