The best way to cheer up is to STOP STOP STOP whatever you're doing. And don't try. Let it come to you. However this is the subtle way of stopping a stressed mind. Talk to yourself in nice accolades such as "Hey nice person I like you and that's what counts. And take a rest (not with television or any other mind distraction) and then use a comical voice or voice with a foreign accent to observe anything. It verks. Yahvohl it verks. You become a new poyson and that poyson is your entertaining soul. (don't look for quick programmed fixes - woik witcha own sense of you-ma) Get it? You're drowning? Don't stay in the ocean fighting the waves, Get out of the ocean. Get into a pool or get on the beach and look at the sun. Ha ha ha ha. Don't get cheered up! Or you'll get cheered down. Get away from the poison, the programming and get into the pool and meeting new things. Don't say you don't have the time. You have time once you stop the programmed clock. Lots of it. Read Albert Einstein or quote him from your own instinct.
Play with nonsense and that should do it for the next coupla months.

Write it all down in a journal or a diary. Write why it is stressful, how you dealt with it, and what you will do later about it. Then, go and have a good old-fashioned coke float. Change what you're doing and take a break before YOU break! Then, do the part of the homework you like least to get it out of the way. After you get all that done, compare notes with a friend on your work. Chatting with a friend can make things go away because you will both tend to laugh a little when you're connected...

What I do is right when I come home, I change into some comfy sweats, make some hot tea or cocoa and eat a snack and relax for a while. Listen to some music for a while, watch a little tv. When you start your homework, keep listening to music..it helps me better at least. And just dont think about how hard the hw is, think about how good it will feel getting it DONE.

The best way to cheer yourself up is to cheer someone else up!
write and encouraging e-mail to a friend, donate some old clothes of yours to a children's shelter, sign up to help in a soup kitchen, or just smile at someone who looks down.
There are always people more stressed and less stressed then yourself.
Then buckle down and do your homework.

It really varies from person to person. You should try to find something that both cheers you up and relaxes you. (things *can* cheer you up and stress you, it's weird) Then, you can use it as a reward for going through all that work. Light exercise (walks, yoga/stretching) is a good choice, as exercise will release endorphins, and help you fight stress. You might also want to take a *really* nice bubble bath. Smells trigger good reacions, as well.

Do consider my suggestions below:
1. Write down a list of things you need to do. A cluttered mind is a stressful mind.
2. Identify which one's more important and less important, which one is easy and more difficult.
3. Prioritise task starting with easy-important, hard-important, easy-less important, hard-less important.
4. Do task one by one and tick off each as you complete them. This gives you a sense of achievement and motivate you to continue working.
5. Give yourself small quick reward as you complete each task on the list by e.g watching 10 minutes of MTV, eating 5 pieces of chocolate/candy.
6. Whenever you feel tired, rest for awhile taking your mind completely off the task at hand. Listen to some music, read some comics (Dilbert is my personal recommendation)

well sometimes it just that day, when im not having a bad day i think of all the things that make me happy, like maybe a boyfriend's smile, or your dogs kisses when you haven't been feeling good. sometimes its just best to take time at a time. if you dont your head will hurt and you will fill yourself with stress and by the sound of it you dont need any. so just stop breath and take it time at a time and i i bet you will feel better

Repeat after me..."I LOVE homework! It is so exciting and adventurous. I will start by doing the homework that I dread most (eat the crust first!)" Then you will fly through it! Cheer up.
It's a great life!

Simply force yourself to smile.... then go to the mirror and smile some more... soon you will be smiling at your self without forcing it because you feel silly doing it.
Some times you just need a break from the stress to be plain silly !!
Happy Tuesday !!

well the best way to cheer yourself up if your having a stressing day is to go somewhere quite where you can think and then take your mind of school and relax then treat your self to something you mostly like for example i would treat my self to ice-cream.
