It is only imporatnt in the few tourist spots.
Overall, it is probably not a significant percentage of China' business or income.

It's not "important" in the sense that it is to heavily tourism-dependent countries like Trinidad, Barbados, the Maldives or Spain. But it's not negligible either, in the sense that it is in, say, Kazakhstan.
