Who can know what people might have contributed if only they had lived?

Can you remember anything that has happened in your life that changed who you are or the way you think of things? If that event never happened do you think you would still be who you are today or would you be different? For better or worse? Would you change that event if you had a choice?

I’m doing research to understand if there are needs for employment services that help convicted felons who are non-violent seek employment. If you think there is a need for such a service, please respond. Just keep in mind that there are felons that have never spent time in jail and are convicted of non-violent and victimless crimes i.e., gambling and not paying taxes. Also, there are people in their 40’s that struggle because they where convicted while in their 20’s and in college.

I don't understand how anyone with morals and a brain could not be disgusted by this. At first I honestly thought these shows were just satirical jokes. This is the exact kind of ludricously mindless entertainment that novels in the past have warned about. I think it's contributing to the dumbing down of this country. Ok not the ONLY cause obviously, you don't have to point that out.

And they're not even ENTERTAINING! If I wanted to watch a bunch of degenerate airheads sit around and talk about what they want to wear, talk about boys, and brush their teeth I'd visit my local mall. At least Survivor had some entertainment value.

I met a guy a few summers ago and it was the first and only instance where I had those feelings of "love at first sight". After many dates, hanging out etc.. I was just in awe of him. The way he talked to me was out of this world.. it's like he was what I've always been looking for. He was done w/grad school, in a successful band, VERY great looking, GREAT sense of humor and overall highly intelligent.

All of my friends said he was just using me for sex but I don't know. Would a guy get upset if you talked about your ex so much and quit talking to you?

I just don't know why I do this. I see him in public and I still get butterflies and can barely mutter a "hello" in passing.

What does all of this mean and what is wrong w/me?
