Most likely due to the sheer pressures of their plastic, artificial lives where egos clash, small talk never happens and they can never quite come to turns with each other's start status.

PLUS ..... celebrity divorces are simply high profile ... they get advertised and we absorb as a result .... for every one celeb divorce, bet there are another one hundred going through for ordinary folk within a ten mile radius of you ..... we just don't hear about those ,,,,,

Celebrities get divorced
1) They have nothing better to do.
2) It gets the media's attention
3) Their careers
Just look at Nick and Jessica.
It is the "cool" thing to do. Just look there is a 50% divorce rate in this country. It is very unfortunate I must say but the way things like that work.

Because their lifes are full of even more distractions and temptations than the rest of us, especially when working away a lot and not being close for months on end. Also with all that money and success no one is reliant on the other person for anything - that means they can both live full lives without one another. Personally I think that the money would soften the blow of a divorce or at least make it a little easier.

Most of them marry for the wrong reason.....infatuation. They also go into a marriage thinking that if it doesn't work out; they can always get a divorce. Many never make a commitment. A marriage can only work when two people commit to each other.

They probably dont get divorced in any higher numbers than the rest of the population, its just that as we live in the "Hello" World where evrybody is apparently obsessed by their every move we cannot avoid finding out about it!

Plus of course many of them only marry for the publicity in the first place!

Not always. The ones that have long term marriages are in the minority, but mainly you just stop hearing about them because they don't make good tabloid headlines. Truthfully, I believe there are celebrities who deliberately marry and divorce and behave outrageously to keep themselves in the tabloids. It's good for their careers.

I'm not really a person who is interested in celebrities , but i think that they just want to make themselves on the news, or maybe their relationship does not work out

Think part of it has to do with the fact they are more in the public eye. And everything they do is scruntinized not just by their spouses but by us also.

Then you add the fact they are celibrity and maybe not home as much

Reminds me of a song Clay Walker wrote - Ordinary People....

For the same reasons "regular" people get divorced. It's just that they're in the spotlight so we hear and see all they do.

I think they get married mainly to boost their own profiles, then when the fame or novelty wears off, they divorce. Sad, but thats my opinion
