I believe you overestimate the importance and influence of those people. I mean, we still have plenty of Kennedy's to go around and peace-loving, hippie singers are a dime-a-dozen. I believe Martin Luther King had the biggest influence but he essentially accomplished his goals. In short, the world would be in pretty much the same place. Also, sometimes a personality has more influence post-mortem than when they are alive. Think of Elvis. The dude is way bigger dead than he ever was alive.

John F. Kennedy would have continued as President of the United States, helping to foster democracies around the world, helping to educate people and cure disease. Also, would have been able to continue his Latin America Plan, which would have prevented our "War on Drugs" and the sweat shop activity that goes on there, which is a big part of the reason why people across the world hate us now.

Martin Luther King would have continued to fight for civil rights, perhaps broadening his effort to include everyone. To ensure that the promise of this country would be the birthright of ALL the people.

John Lennon would have continuted to make music that lifted peoples hears and minds. Also, he would have faught for civil rights and human rights around the world perhaps.

Well, it depends on what Kennedy would have done if he had gotten the Presidency again, MLK's dreams would have gone further (I believe), and John Lennon would just keep making music.

Kennedy and King had trashed the Constitution almost as much as it can stand. It they hadn't been killed, someone would be drawing a bead on them now. They'd be doing it to crappy music.

Sure, and imagine where we might be if all the babies that were aborted weren't. They could have had cures for all kinds of diseases, maybe been world leaders, etc., etc.
