No. There no such thing as a "proven fact". By itself a fact is usually thought of as some thing that exists out in the world, independent of minds or thoughts and having an objective validity. Just by putting the word "proven" in front of the word fact, it's implying a cognitive process has occurred about the fact, which would be a type of improper usage. A Proven "Truth" might be a better usage, however, the proposition would first have to be elevated to the status of a theory first.
It's important to remember all "Theories" are linguistic models of the way some proposition is thought to occur. A Theory may be true, it may not be true, or it may be somewhere in between. That's unimportant in a way, though, because it is still just a model, not in itself a truth.
As for your question regarding apes, I've never heard anyone, not even Evolutionists, suggest we are descendants of apes. A common ancestor is postulated, which fits nicely into the model, however, requires more investigation.

"I would rather be drunk and reason with a dog than reason sober with a religious fanatic."
Any sane knowledgeable person will tell you.
Start with Google or Askjeeves or MSN or BINGOOO or any good search engine. The OVERWHELMING evidence is that not only primates but ALL plants and animals on Earth have a very similar genetic structure. We are all related. I am not saying we came from apes. We are so similar. I believe that the question is wrong. We actually all came from some similar ancient source.
Of course if you want to believe that guy on the corner with the sign and his mumbo-jumbo that is okay too. I mean I believe in fairies and trolls too.
Every now and then it is nice to get the facts.

Luv is right. Apes don't even walk upright. They help themselves along with their knuckles and they don't even have opposible thumbs. That Man came from the apes is unproven.
Ask yourself, if we came from the apes why do apes still exist?
Answer: Because they are a different species of animal.
And actually, there is no common ancestor. The 'missing link' has never been found. There is no scientific evidence that Homo Sapien every 'mated' with other early humanoids.
In view of the fact that we can't even get along with each other, consider how badly we would have interacted with Neanderthal Man.
Chances are we kill off the other early humanoids! Of course, there seem to be those among us who would rather be monkeys than belong to the Family of Man.

It is not proven in the mathematical sense. However, it is a theory that is well-supported by facts: in particular, by the fossil record and by information gathered from the sequencing of mitochondrial and chromosomal DNA.
The rival theory that there is no relationship between humans and apes is far less well-supported.
Note that gravity and electromagnetism are also "just theories." Keep this in mind when ignoramuses equate theory with wild, unfounded speculation.

No. There is nothing PROVED about a theory.
In fact it might be more likely that apes and humans evolved
along parellel paths from a common ancestor.

Man did not "come from apes". Humans and apes descended from the same common ancestor.

Human and Apes had a common ancestor. The proff is DNA. DNA does not lie. Humans and chimp DNA is about 95-99% similar.

No, it is not. There is no direct link between quadropeds and bipeds as far as bone structure is concerned. Convenient, don't you think, that there's that missing link. That alone should be enough for people to figure out that God created us in His image and not the image of a monkey.

Nope. A theory with a lot of gaps in it ("The missing link").
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution for a very in depth discussion of the aspects of evolution and natural selection.
