Worry can be positive if it is about something you can control. Questioning and rethinking decisions can lead to better decisions. As long as it doesn't affect other parts of life it's normal and healthy. Worrying becomes negative when it's about things beyond your control such as gas prices, the state of affairs in Zaire, what your neighbor is doing behind his fence.

Well, it depends on what u r worrying about.
Worry can help u to get things done. I mean, if u worry abt not being able to do something tomorrow, this worry will force you to do it today. It also helps u to think about the problem.
However, it can also be harmful. Too much worry can lead to stress and imgaining stuff that won't ever happen. This not only ruins the present but also the future.

Worry is a positive activity in that people that worry take care of all the little details and crap that people who are non-thinking never take care of. If it wasn't for me, the worrier of the household, no one would clean the furnace filter, no one would make sure the water softener had salt, no one would change any oil, no one would make sure the insurance premiums were paid on time and the policies are up to date. The non-worriers are parasites in a worriers' world.

A good rule of thumb, worry about the things you have control over and let go of the things you cannot. I come from a family of worry warts and this is the only thing that has kept me sane :)

worrying sometimes have its positive side. it gives you a heads up of what might happen. it's related to over estimating, but it's good since you are thinking, anticipating something that might happen and actually be prepared for it.
