I consider myself to be a larger person. I'm not talking obese, etc, just that I have several pounds I could stand to loose and still be nice and healthy. However, I've always been curvy (very large breasted, etc) ever since I was a very young teenager. My husband absolutely loves the way that I look, but I think that I need to loose some weight because I'm afraid that 1) when we have kids, I won't be in good enough shape to keep up with their fast pace and 2) I fear that other people are always judging me for being overweight. My problem is that when I mention that I am losing a few pounds, or he notices my clothes fitting looser (this happens just because my weight naturall fluctuates so much), he gets very sad. How do you think that I can be attractive for my husband, and still be attractive for myself?

The Bible, both NT and OT, is filled with stories and parables about mankind overcoming adversity by both having faith in a higher power and the inner strength to be resolute in their actions. The key to this being the strength of the individual to see their task through to the end, asking God for guidance without desperation. You cannot petition the Lord with prayer.

Having said that with the full knowledge that there is no exact entry with the specific words "God helps those who help themselves", I am wondering if the majority of current Christians have lost sight of our free will and are now completely dependant upon faith without action. I am going to say again that I was raised Greek Orthodox and still follow the beliefs and lifestyle with which I had grown up.

In short, are most Christians only running on blind faith without reason?

Women are already asserting themselves in every facet of our lives & thank GOD they are. Women have taken the reigns of gov't in several countries & have quietly been improving the lot of the PEOPLE. You see women are the mothers of ALL OF US & as mothers they don't like to see their children ANY OF THEIR CHILDREN come to harm. Women are leading the way in every facet of GOODNESS for HUMANITY as a whole. We are ALL ONE BEING ONE MIND, each of us is like a neuron that pulses in the brain of course their are billions of neurons in the brain so as there are many minds all connected together in one CONSCIOUSNESS. Some of you may think no I'm an individual seperate from everyone else when the truth is if you're alive you're CONNECTED & we communicate with each other. Let's all communicate that the women's Will - Will Hold Sway in our world, NO more killing, NO more violence, NO more hunger, NO more thirst, no more Homeless, NO more poverty. IAM putting my entire WILL behind ALL THEIR EFFORT

I love my fiancé to death. However there’s a challenge I’m trying to deal with. That is, if I do or say something that concerns her she will assume things to be much worse then they really are. She will also think what I did that concerned her to be something that I will always do for now on. For example if I miss her phone call she will think I never answer her calls. Or one time I spent time with my guy friends one night, and she thought I am deciding to see her less and not see her on her anniversary. I definitely wasn’t thinking that. She is not being controlling; she is simply assuming things to be bad or worse then they really are (she jumps to conclusions.) This gets aggravating. As a trait of this, she takes things very personally; as a result, I can’t joke with her. What could I do about this? I would greatly appreciate any help or info. Thank you!

I remember all my dreams very very well. I mean I remember each dream I've had. I remember them for years. But, nearly every night I dream about fish. Mainly I dream about whales. Sometimes I am only watching them, sometimes I'm in the water with them. I do not dream I am drownding, I'm not even really scared of them. They are not scary dreams, I just wonder why I dream about it...

In real life I HATE fish. I will not get in lakes or oceans. I don't eat fish (I am vegetarian). I actually have never even touched a fish. I was even given the opportunity to touch a whale and dolphin at sea world and would not do it. I also have a fear of undergroud aquariums and I don't even feel comfortable at pet stores looking at fish.

Had a dream that my husband was leaning against me and singing the song 'Behind the Wheel' by Depeche Mode and I was suffocating under his weight (although he is thin) but when I tried to tell him that I couldn't breathe he just closed his eyes and slumped against me even heavier and was singing the words 'I'd rather not be, the one behind the wheel' whilst I was gasping for air! What do you think it means?

When I was a child, Halloween was a very innocent holiday where children dressed up and participated in make believe. The holiday of that day was not connected to any pagan practices. Slowy it became politically incorrect and certain customs weren't allowed socially since they were "satanic." As adults started assigning all these meanings, then the entire Holiday has became poltically incorrect.
