Of course not every protest generates a change of policy, but if it's big enough or gets media attention and then captures the public's interest, then it can influence change. That's the way I see it historically from my base of knowledge.

On the second concern about being a pest, well that's how some people will see you regardless of how you present yourself. Usually it's when they have a opposite viewpoint of course. It's my opinion that radicalism doesn't get taken seriously, unless they elect people of course. That seems to be the current national situation. I don't have facts to back it up, but I don't believe that those PETA people get as much change as other organizations that aren't radical.
