no no no no no no...
i'm 100% sure it's NOT contact lense!! Just look at Kate's picture.. you'll see something strange in one of her eye..
and i know it's genes...,, dear..,, but HOW?? it's really confused me!!

That's really not all that rare.
A friend of mine had a brown eye with a grey diagonal stripe going through the iris. It was quite cool.

I have a friedn from high school who had a blue eye and a brown eye. And his sister had the same colors but the opposite eyes it is pretty weird.

I have a green eye and a blue eye "my mom has green my dad blue" i guess our genetics

It is rare but it is simply a hiccup in genetics. Nothing fake, nothing special.
