Everything I've ever read about carnivorous dinosaurs has been about theropods (carnosaurs, coelurosaurs etc. etc.).

Were there ever any non-theropod carnivorous dinosaur genera?

(specifically excluding non-dinosaur extinct carnivorous reptiles such as mosasaurs, dimetrodon etc etc).

I recently found a large spider with a bulbous abdomen 2-3 centimeters in diameter. It is dark brown with a single white line running vertically down it's back, and two white specks/dots on each side of the line. These are it's only markings. The underside of it's belly is of a lighter brown, but I cannot see any patterns or markings worth noting. It's legs are striped in a dark brown and tan pattern. I was able to count six eyes total. Two on top, four on the bottom. Could it be a Brown Widow or something else?
