God does everything for a reason. Yes, He made giraffes necks long. But that's because they eat only the leaves of the trees and to reach those they do need long necks. Thus, Gos was not cruel but kind and loving towards the creatures He created.

it's due to evolution. In order to reach the tastier leaves on top of the trees, the giraffes evolve to have longer necks.
