The teeth of a shark are razor sharp. They could easily slice through a crocs hide. The shark has very sensitive sensory glands on the nose and the side of its body. It could feel if the croc tried to lunge at it and the shark has incredible speed.

I fear the croc would meet its match if it encountered a shark in water six feet deep or more.

In shallow water the croc might get a good hold in a position where the shark couldn't use its awesome teeth but that is not likely. And unless the croc caught the tail, the shark could make its way into deeper water where the croc would have to let go and when the shark turned around the croc would be swimming for its life, but not for very long.

Animal Planet did a show called Animal Face-Off where they built robot replicas of a saltwater crocodile and a great white shark. The shark won the hypothetical battle simulation. Part of it was done on a computer too. If admiring an animals fighting prowess gets you interested in science or even animal conservation then it is a good thing.

properly salt water have been standard to devour small sharks, yet to pass up against a large white shark, it relies upon on whose larger. If there the comparable length, it would desire to pass the two way. Being an air breather, the salt water is at a drawback. while it is going up for air, it places it vulnerable underbelly in possibility. yet while the crocodile manages to chew the shark's tail, it would have the ease. Oh by potential of ways the two crocodile and shark have very conserving pores and skin.

I once saw this on AXN.They aniamted and showed it.
The shark won.It was a fight between a salt water croc and a great white shark.
The croc had the upper hand.It attacked the shark savagely and bit off one of the sharks fin.But at the last part the croc was going to the surface to breathe air and at time the shark attacked the croc from the side, injuring it badly, and since it ran out of breath it died and lost.

The results varies depends on the location. If it is in the shallow water, I will say croc. It lays and ambush. If it hit the shark in the right place, it can ends it quick.

If it is in deep open ocean, croc can not ambush and it is up to the shark. If the shark can keep the croc under water surface, it wins by suffocating the croc.

I say the crocodile; it's quick and it has strong skin that would protect it from a few shark bites.
