eating fruity pebbles does it, and any grape drinks , don't ask me how purple turns to green , but it does

Well, there are a few reasons for this. If you've eaten any sort of green vegetable like broccoli or spinach that could be the cause. If you've started taking a multivitim recently that will also cause a green stool, as you are getting a higher level of iron in your system than you would with out one. Green stool isn't a cause for concern though, black and tarry yes, green no.

A "green" stool is from rapid transit of feces through the intestines. Your body may not be utilizing all the resources it could from the meal, either that or you are consuming a vast amount of dark leafy greens and spinach. this is all i know, hope it helps. I have noticed sometimes a green stool when i have been realy realy physicaly exerting myself.

Could be you ate something with a lot of food coloring in it. This summer I ate some cake with some really blue frosting, and the results were initially quite disconcerting.

anything that is purple. Kool-aid, Soda, etc...that will cause it to be an army green color.
