I hear that most ppl take baby aspirin because if you take the regular strength (325mg) then it can cause your blood to get "too" thin, and cause bleeding problems. Baby aspirin is a little more expensive then regular aspirin and I am kinda a cheap scape. (true) so I was wanting to know if I do take regular aspirin (once again 325mg) do I need to take it daily or bi-daily. Thanx in advanced, and God Bless

I am contemplating whether I should go to a foreign medical school in the carribean or go to a Osteopathic medical school if I can't get into a "regular" US medical school. But do you think that patients care?

Lets say my dad is 5'7, however, he is that short because when he was younger he was exposed to malnutrition, stressing hard work and very little time to sleep. So here are my questions:

1. Will i inherit his height which is 5'7 or would i inherit a height higher than 5'7 because of his conditions when he was younger?

I need to put together a beginning-to-end case study on a pathology for a radiology class. I'm looking for ideas on what pathology to use. Mesothelioma would be an example of an overused topic. I'd like to do something rare and a bit bizarre, something visually captivating. Like a human who's grown wings, for example. Any suggestions?

You always hear people talking about how the kid who was valedictorian in highschool turned out to be a doctor.

I realllly want to be a doctor. However, I'm no valedictorian. I have about a 4.2 GPA on a 5.0 scale and my most recent ACT score was a 24. I SUCK at chemistry, im pretty good at math, and im pretty good at biology and human physiology.

I'm willing to work hard and college and i plan to do pre-med and some type of biology.

Realistically should i be trying my luck in Medicine? It's something i've wanted to do since i knew what a doctor was. I just feel like i'm giving myself false hope. I'm deffinetly not stupid but I'm not the smartest out there either.

I am a 32 year old diabetic female. People are suggesting I should have some bloodwork done since my pancreas is failing along with my kidneys. I also have some nueropathy and I had some angina about a month and a half ago. I was just wondering because this one person suggested it so I thought I would ask my doc some questions. What should I be prepared to ask my doc? Thanks for any input.

I note that Nutrition News Focus and Journal of the American
Medical Association (April 21, 1999), seem to be taking the position that the link between dietary and blood cholesterol is not particularly strong.

Is this position generally accepted by scientists or to appease some pressure groups? Pray tell.
